Ladies and gentlemen, Please help me! mol.gif
I was puzzled by my superiors here, we need prices for identifying insects and other invertebrates. And not just from a fool, but based on something, on some existing price lists and prices.
I searched the Internet, but found nothing.
Maybe someone has encountered this? Tell me who knows what!

Previously, a hundred years ago, paid services for the identification of insects were provided by VIZR. Paid identification of insects exists and is widely practiced. especially pest detection.
I don't know the prices...
Probably, the definition should cost about 20-30 euros. There is always a danger of who will check this definition - for a number of groups there are no specialists at all.

It's all very individual... It also depends on the amount of work - to identify one new pest or a giant series of remains in the esophagus of birds... this also happens... well, the prices (and conditions) will be different. inode definitions ask you to leave them (part of) certain instances... If you describe the task, maybe someone can tell you the exact price...

Thank you for your answers.
The situation is this: the regional administration orders us to work on drawing up a cadastre. I do not know how much all this will be implemented, but I was asked to find such prices. I believe that it will be necessary to involve all local specialists in different groups, but, again, as the authorities decide.
Well, in fact, you need to determine the price for different types of definitions. Again, I understand that different people in different groups are defined with, so to speak, different investments of effort and time. But the officials can't explain it. Therefore, you need something averaged, or specify a certain price range.
I would be very grateful for any links on this topic))) Because they were asked to give prices not without reason, but based on something. But I don't know what I can rely on.

Maybe VIZR still provides such services. I don't think there should be a price for spinning insects. In the Rostov region, I think there are about 25-50 thousand species of insects. Cadastres are compiled primarily based on materials that have already been published. Here butterflies can be written off according to the Zinovsky catalog.

You don't understand me)) I know how to create cadastres, I understand that you need to attract collections and catalogs. In general, it is almost impossible to make a cadastre of all animals in the Rostov region, imho, because there are a lot of unexplored and underexplored groups. Maybe you can make summaries for individual groups. But now I've been asked to do one specific thing, and that's why I'm asking - is it possible to find a price for an assignment somewhere?..

On the strength of 6-7 thousand species.
According to VNIIKR prices for pest detection: 135 rubles, without the drug and about 200 rubles with the drug. For heavy groups, the coefficient is 2-3.

Thank you very much, Denis!
And where can I view these prices? How and by whom is the "severity" of groups determined? Is this the price for one copy?

Here's a look here http://botanici.ru/price.html (determining the species composition of pests from one tree) and here http://www.shnadzor.ru/price.html
And here is the price list of the Federal State Institution "Orel Reference Center for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance" (see the section " entomological examination of quarantined products) Maybe it will help...

Prices given above.Dmitry and Vniikrovsky. The severity of the groups is naturally determined by the specialist conducting the examination. Definition for "expertise", i.e. for the complex of everything that is in the sample. But in your case, it is appropriate to consider the form as a unit of measurement.

In South Africa, the Plant Protection Institute (Pretoria) charges about$ 10 per species.

Alexander, you have a wrong, non-official approach to businesstongue.gif-you send out official requests for prices to leading entomological institutes, and, ideally, requests should be signed by the person who entrusted you with the work. And that's it, then wait for official answers. And you are not responsible for anything umnik.gif lol.gifThe idea is clear?

By the way, prices in VNIIKR will soon rise, including for expertise and possibly significantly! And not the fact that they will help you with the definition of many "complex" groups.
