Mikhail, it seems to me that this is a cocoonworm, not a hawk moth, and it looks very much like a plum moth, although it is slightly tanned. smile.gif

Quite possibly. Thank you.

Thank you, Dan. Ranatra is lying alone somewhere on the mattresses, do you need it?: -)

It's my pleasure smile.gif
No, thank you, ranatra is not needed, I only need carbides shuffle.gif

"Beast" is a bedbug family. nepidae (water scorpions). We have Ranartra linearis, and in the west ranatra is Chinese and unicolored. Apparently this is Ranatra chinensis.

Good evening dear forumchane!

A brief report on the expedition to Primorye. I would also like to express my deep appreciation to Sdi and Mikki for my early search. Everything turned out to be more complicated than it seemed.
On 3.06.2010 I was in Spassk-Dalny, and since 4.06.2010 I have already settled in the village of Nakhimovka.
A female Callipogoni, a male Pagge , and a female and male Meronus were born . Another female Callipogon was brought by local boys, but it was badly damaged and I let it go.
A lot of Dybovsky females got into the soil traps. At night I caught butterflies, the material was mostly given to Sdi and Mikki ,the bulk of the barbels were collected in Anisimovka at the mountain base where I was only 3 days old.
In general, I think that the trip was a success
