What a joke... They will just check their documents and ask for permission to enter the border zone. If it's not there , they'll tell you to go back. That's what the locals said. I've only encountered border guards once myself. Caught seritsinov in the area of Fadeyevka (Border region of Primorye). I went to investigate in other places, far away. Suddenly, a UAZ-ik appears on the road. I see people in military uniforms. They drive by and look back at me for a long time. In the evening, I learned from the owner of the house that I accidentally found myself a kilometer from the border. And they were probably border guards. People there are local often "rummaging", and usually do not detain. They were surprised, it seems, by the net...

I don't know how it is now, but when there was no clear demarcation line, the locals used to have a sign: if the yellow – faced and narrow-eyed border guards detained you, then you are already in China.

In India, tourists in the areas of tiger national parks are advised to walk with a backpack with a tiger's face on the back. Or another big one. God, aren't you tired of the angry tiger theme yet? There are a lot of them left in the taiga-thanks to poachers, villagers, and the authorities. Experience teaches us that there is something else entirely to be wary of "in the field".. And the most terrible enemy is the two - legged one.

Real dialog in Primorye. I: "Zhenya, have you lived all your life here (in the foothills of the Blue Ridge), do you constantly visit the taiga, have you seen a tiger?" Zhenya: "I've always dreamed of seeing a tiger.".. But at any local store, every buharik immediately feeds fables about tigers and bears, even in quite habitable places. Yes, there is a callipogon much more common than a tiger! That's right, it is the bipeds that are much more dangerous.
