Friends, a colleague from Japan asked me to send you some copies. the bug Dimorphopterus spinolae (Lygaeidae, Blissinae) from Russia. It is necessary in 96% alcohol or fresh dry ones-for genetic analysis.

Other species in this subfamily would also be useful, but this one is critical.

Can someone help?

It seems that it is still more correct to write the name of this species Dimorphopterus spinolai, because Spinola, in whose honor the species is described, was a man, if only because his name was Maximilian. Collecting this species this year is unlikely to work, but if you try, then you need to look in the south, in the axils of the leaves of veinberry and wheatgrass.

I wonder if the Catalog is also wrong?

Yes, rather the request was to those who have fees or alcohol material... Or from wintering grounds...

I wonder if the Catalog is also wrong?

It's not directories that make mistakes, but people. Perhaps I am also wrong now, but I proceed from the rules of Latin grammar and article 31 of the Code, which is even very close to the case of Spinola with an example of the formation of a specific name from the surname N. Pody (both surnames end in-a, which could be considered a sign of a feminine noun, as, apparently, I reasoned Signore in 1857):

31.1.2. The name of a species group, if it is a noun in the genitive case (see Article 11.9.1.3), formed directly (without romanization) from a modern first or last name, must
be formed by adding to the base of the first or last name-i, if the first or last name belongs to a man,- orum, if it belongs to men or a man (men) and woman (women) together, - ae if it belongs to a woman, and-arum if it belongs to women; the basis of such a name (surname) is determined by the actions of the original author, who formed the genitive case.

Example. In accordance with this provision, the names podai from Poda, victori from Victor and cuvieri from Cuvier are acceptable, and the names puckridgei and puckridgi can be formed from Puckridge.
