Colleagues!

Today I got a call from the TV channel. They need a comment about
the possible appearance of some new "mutated" cockroaches in St. Petersburg...
I don't know where they got it from. They want a short comment. Does anyone know that this has suddenly become a PROBLEM? I.e. there have always been cockroaches (there have been fewer of them in recent years). Has something fundamentally changed now? Do you have any publications?

Can someone in St. Petersburg comment on this in a qualified way?

the other day, a friend says-a batch of Chinese appliances came, they opened it,and from there some cockroaches, how they will break!! And despite some experience, she never managed to get a bite of any of them. So cockroaches are coming to us from everywhere)
