Entomologist in Turkey

Community and ForumOther questions. Insects topicsEntomologist in Turkey

Viktor Fursov, 08.06.2016 12:12

Greetings to entomologists from an entomologist from Turkey, from Ankara!

I work at an Institute in Ankara, where I study hymenopteran chalcidae,
small egg-eating insects of the trichogrammatidae (Hymenoptera, Chalcidoidea, Trichogrammatidae) and other chalcidae (Chalcidoidea).

I sometimes make videos about insects. I think some entomologists have already seen my videos, but maybe not all of them!

Watch my new videos about Turkey and insects in Turkey on my YouTube LINK VIDEO channel below.

If you are interested in NEW stories and new topics and have any questions-write, I will review and answer your questions-in the comments under the video or by e-mail.

Good luck and success. smile.gif smile.gif smile.gif

It looks like this Melitaea trivia
Confuses the forage plant. Are you sure it was sage?" Are there any pictures of the caterpillar and forage plant?

10.06.2016 20:01, Viktor Fursov

Thank you for the definition -
I put a photo of the plant.
The small caterpillar insect appeared in the true-size photo.
But in one picture it is visible.

Maybe that will help in determining.

We should have moved the discussion to the software topic. Checkers girls.

Your picture doesn't show any flowers, but it looks like mullein instead of sage. Maybe Verbascum sinuatum.
So everything fell into place. Trivia in Turkey on mullein. smile.gif
