Here, it looks like there are two of them. They reproduce. Now I'll post another video of ONE of them.

Without a photo, no one will tell you anything in particular.

Above the photo, where there are two of them. It turned out to crush and on the stick there was, apparently, part of one of them. He wiggles his mustache. Here is the link to the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QUF0phEx2To

If it is a food moth, do they breed backwards to each other, as in the photo?

25.11.2017 22:43, Necrocephalus

Southern barn firefly Plodia interpunctella, apparently. He eats everything, even candy wrappers and hot ground red pepper. Check dry foods.

Good afternoon

Moscow, apartment, newly renovated from floor to ceiling.
during 2 weeks, there were 3 meetings with strange beetles in the living room (neither in the bathroom nor in the kitchen were observed), which do not look very similar to cockroaches. Help identify and advise how to get rid of unpleasant neighbors.

Barbel beetle Obrium cantharinum ( https://www.zin.ru/animalia/coleoptera/rus/obrcanek.htm Most likely, the beetles were bred from some wooden products. Further reproduction in the apartment will not occur: the larvae probably got into the wood even before they made something out of it.

Dmitry, thank you so much for your answer! I understand correctly that furniture made of chipboard does not attract him?
Do I need to call specialized services to process the room?

Correctly yes.gif

Do I need to call specialized services to process the room?

This is unnecessary.

Hello!

Help identify the insect.
About a month ago, a couple of times on the wall of the kitchen noticed small insects. I've been seeing them every day in the kitchen and hallway for the past week. They are light, translucent,1-1. 5 mm in size, and move quite quickly. Apartment on the 11th floor, built in 2014, I will not say that the humidity is very high. We live here for six months.
I checked all the cereals and took them out on the balcony. I haven't noticed any of the other rooms yet, but the walls are light, so you don't see these beetles right away. There are few books, no plants.
What kind of insect? I am very afraid of their active reproduction. There is an experience of living together with red ants and flour eaters)) When I remember, brrr!

Thanks!

And how to deal with them? The apartment is clean, cleaning is regular, there are no deposits of junk.
Just do not say that they are harmless) I had to take all the products out of the cabinets to the balcony, but this is not the way out.

Google it will help.

A cicada. Try to move the definitions of equidistant wings to the topic, maybe they will.

According to the description, they look like ticks, only not forest ones.

16.12.2017 16:17, ИНО

Aha, forest tailed tick lol.gifIf the mention of the TS "tail" is true, then it can only be false scorpions.

Don't you confuse anything?
False scorpions do not have a "tail", but palpigradae and teliphones have something similar.

Of course, I'm confused. It just slipped my mind that false scorpions don't have metasomes, even though I've seen them many times. Now Pan Stepova will definitely come and start sneering, well, figs with him.

Teliphones can't be there, and palpigrad probably isn't either. So I can't even imagine what kind of tails they might be, except for someone with a bunch of hairs or wax threads on their butt.

Hello, can you tell me who this is??
Moved in two weeks ago, 70s house, brick. Made repairs, my floor is washed twice a day. I was cleaning up crumbs in the kitchen behind the baby and I touched someone..it moved...I was scared, looked closely - a small insect, the body is elongated, tapering to the end, at the end of tails or hairs, long thin antennae on the head, all the color of flesh (maybe for now). At first I thought, maybe a brand-new leatherhead? (I struggled with them in my last apartment) But it doesn't look like it...

I turned on the flashlight, looked at everything, found another one under the kitchen cabinet, picture: QVWN2atR06M.jpgonly larger than the previous one, and it was already lying upside down, folded them on its body, I touched it with a napkin-it moved.

It is noteworthy that I did not see any insects all two weeks, and here two at once and 30 cm from each other.

Sugar, or common scalefish-Lepisma saccharina. Basically, a harmless insect for humans:

Probably, Monodontomerus obscurus is a very common parasitoid of bees-osmium.

11.01.2018 10:43, virmeiker

Thank you so much for your help.

Bees crawled out of the old log house, there was a nest somewhere in the crevices, 15 pieces were nailed then probably ended.

And how to destroy them, and whether they are dangerous for humans.

Hello good people. tell me. they climb out of the sewer through the drain in the sink and bath.
so I took a picture on a white background , and the phone can't really focus on it.
it's sort of transparent around the edges, and there's a long mustache in front and back. the length is approximately 1 cm.

They survived - now even osmium people are trying to destroy. And they probably like to eat garden fruits.

15.01.2018 19:50, gmv178

this is if it climbs out of the drain then one of the neighbors has a lot of it or from where it can get there?
I turned on the hot water for 20 minutes - I hope it helps
what else can I do?

I am happy for bees, osmia, and even spiders, but when they live on the street, and do not climb out of the wall from somewhere and periodically try to win back the territory))))

We have been suffering from the attack of these creatures for 3 months now. They climb all over the body, tickle, bite. They are everywhere, on the body, in clothes, underwear. The dimensions are microscopic. We determine their presence by touch, usually with the help of vinegar. We live in a rural area.

We went to a dermatologist about pediculosis. Faced with indifference and unwillingness to help. I sent him to a psychiatrist and told him we didn't have any problems.

Please tell me who it might be. Close to despair.

In all photos, except for 180120_212248.jpg - (37.34 k) pellets of dirt and conglomerates of fine debris, hair, tissue fibers, skin secretions and epidermal scales.
On the photo 180120_212248.jpg — (37.34 k) - flea. To determine which one, take a photo from the side, not from the back.

Necrocephalus, thank you for your reply. So they're not here right now. There were others, just then there was no microscope. We fought them for a long time, by all possible means. I'm afraid of everything now. I will observe if they appear, fix it)))
