The findings are getting worse and worse...

Yes, people are lucky, I can't find an ordinary bedbug, and here you have both a bedbug and a head louse.. Straight historical rarities associated with the days of the past and unknown. And Prussians will soon be there ...

Hello, help me identify the spiders, please. I understand that they are not insects, but it turned out that they are also neighbors.
the laundry drawer in the sofa hadn't been opened for six months, so they got... crunches, probably such small brown beetles - 1-3mm, the drawer was emptied, washed, dried a couple of times and left empty. today they opened-a web with huts from the corners, about six handsome men of 1-2 cm somewhere, a couple of dry corpses in the web, about 5 clutches-spider balls with a diameter of a couple of centimeters, inside about a dozen eggs (maybe more, rather up to 20 pcs.)
spiders themselves with a pronounced constriction between the head and abdomen, the abdomen of a delicate shade of orange (not very bright, rather light, clear creamy-orange hue) with black pots at random (not very large, with sharp edges, but unevenly outlined spots, not dots, but as if a brush was drawn from left to right, trying to draw circles, polka-dot spiders).
I couldn't make out more clearly, the family was very nervous.
suppressed, cleaned. now we are afraid that not all of them were eliminated. I understand that most likely they were not dangerous, although they are orange, there are still no victims and there are almost no beetles left, but somehow it's dumb. where would they come from, so unusual? and how can the remaining ones behave - where else to look? maybe I shouldn't have... like that.

18.02.2012 18:39, sergilena

yes, I forgot about the legs - they are dry and long, like pigtails, only not so much protrude above the body and as if a ball around the body, the spider puts them on tsipochki.

thank you in advance for your help, the family is in shock.

judging by the grammar and the number of messages, I also smile.giflive in Donetsk, in Ukraine, in an apartment with amenities, in a Stalinist three-story house on the second floor. there are offices down there, no grocery stores, although the mice were always there until they got a cat.

The white balance is simply set incorrectly

Thank you very much!

The white balance is lying. The monitor's color scheme also lies. smile.gif

Hello.

Help please, found a dead monstermad.gif, very similar to woodlice, tolko more, 30-40mm. see the photo. What's it?

In Pripyat, such woodlice always crawl out of the shells, this is normal.

20.02.2012 22:58, lepidopterolog

What shell did it come out of???? (imagination immediately draws a picture of SOMETHING crawling out of the sink in the bathroom or in the kitchensmile.gif, but I still suspect that it's from the shell of a clam)
Not quite at the right address, but rather not at all at the right place, because this is not an insect, of course, although it is called a sea cockroach in Russian. This is a crustacean from the order Isopoda (about woodlice quite correctly noted, they belong to the same order), the family Chaetiliidae, probably the banal Saduria entomon.

20.02.2012 22:59, shinakoba

Well, thank you, I'm actually in Kazan.

20.02.2012 23:02, shinakoba

The bathroom sinks in the bathroom cabinet also crawled out.

20.02.2012 23:02, lepidopterolog

So it really came out of the shell of a clam, not from a plumbing device? smile.gif It's just that it's a sea dweller)

20.02.2012 23:05, lepidopterolog

The bathroom sinks in the bathroom cabinet also crawled out.

what??? eek.gifAre you sure??? Maybe he came to you with some fish from the store? Somehow this is unrealistic at all. They seem to be able to live in fresh water, if I'm not mistaken, but not in the Kazan water supply exactly smile.gif

20.02.2012 23:05, shinakoba

Yes, what a sea, a sea in our area if it was 1,000,000 years ago. it crawled out of the sewer.

20.02.2012 23:06, shinakoba

Well, thank you, I'm actually in Kazan.

Why not write about the meeting point right away? You also guessed to come up with an original nickname for registering on the forum.

As for the animal-most likely it is one of the so-called sea cockroaches (Saduria or a similar genus), I agree with the lepidopterologist. Someone must have flushed it down the drain, but it didn't come out and snuck into your sink.

20.02.2012 23:09, shinakoba

Yes, maybe with a fish, especially since they found him already dead.

20.02.2012 23:10, lepidopterolog

That's it, hardly directly picked up and got out of the sewer smile.gif

20.02.2012 23:11, swerig

Isn't this something that bites in the Black Sea in Romania? Only 7-8 mm long in total.
It bites very sensitively. They look like woodlice and swim.

20.02.2012 23:24, AGG

I found such ice cream in fish for a cat. Bad Den correctly spelled who it is.

20.02.2012 23:35, lepidopterolog

Am I wrong? tongue.gif

20.02.2012 23:42, Triplaxxx

In the Black Sea, bokoplavs usually bite!

20.02.2012 23:44, Hierophis

Do Bokoplavy bite? Yes wellsmile.gif, They are not so harsh smile.gifNever I bokoplavy did not bite, well, if you put your foot in the sand on the shoreline then tickle)))

21.02.2012 8:55, Shtil

Wait, I didn't smoke something - did it crawl out, or did you find it dead? And how it passed through the cells in the drain. And generally fun here you have....

21.02.2012 17:48, shinakoba

Well, the cells in the sink are quite large. So "Saduria entomon" will get through safely. But they found of course dead, but still warm.

21.02.2012 18:02, Vorona

What do you mean, warm? eek.gif

In the shallow bays of the Black Sea, like Yegorlytsky, it is bokoplavs that bite.

21.02.2012 23:46, Cloyster

I once chewed this one when I was eating sprat in tomato sauce.

21.02.2012 23:50, lepidopterolog

I love seafood too.

Termites. They are listed in the south of Ukraine. I just didn't know that they could be in cities. And in winter.
