So the bathroom needs to be dried. Do I understand correctly? They appear once every 5-7 days and only one.

first you were in the kitchen, now you can see it everywhere. How to deal with them? The size is around 1 mm.

Who knows, please help.

The quality of the images is poor, but there seem to be spots on the elytra, so it is almost certainly Sitophilus oryzae (L., 1763) (family Dryophthoridae). They live in whole grains, such as rice, wheat, and so on. As a rule, they are not found in ground cereals (semolina, cuttings).

These are some beetles (I can't say the type) from the family Weevils. And they most likely fly in from the street through the window. Therefore it is useless to fight and they are harmless to humans smile.gif

They think of us as huge, loose, wet jellies, pale-skinned things with quivering outgrowths of our bodies and the unhealthy color of our decomposing integuments.

Good afternoon. 18th floor.
after the flood, there were beetles in the wallpaper below and in the shower.
semi-transparent, light gray, less than a millimeter in size.
after removing the lower part of the wallpaper on the walls in the room, I stopped noticing them.
However, they periodically appear in the shower near the drain hole of the pan. Under the shower there is a pedestal made of foam blocks. perhaps inside the pedestal under the shower tray there was dampness and mold spread. there is no way to disassemble the pallet right now, and I don't really want to. beetles don't bother me much, I just wonder who they are.

I came back from vacation (I was away for a week and the water was turned off), and they are in the shower again. Here, I took some more photos. in the photo, the drain hole of the shower, the size of the vertical strips is 3-5 millimeters. Anyone have any idea who this is? or do you need a better photo ?

Specialists, please help identify the insects. mol.gif
I think they look like hay eaters, but I can't quite place them.
Very small (about 1 mm), very nimble and frisky, translucent, behave like ants, walk along paths. At night, it can be found in the bathroom and washbasin. Today I left a cup in which there was some tea, a few hours later they ran in. Here is a photo from the same cup:

They first appeared in October-November of last year, but did not cause any problems until they settled in the laptop's power supply, which then shorted out.
Region: Central Ukraine.

What's wrong with the ants option? The description is very similar, the photo does not show anything. frown.gif

Dear ladies and gentlemen, please help us determine the type of insects that have appeared on the walls of our apartment.

After moving to southern China, it turned out that I have an increased sensitivity to insect bites. In the last month, the number of bites has increased, and therefore I began to look for the cause.
After eliminating mosquitoes and midges, I started looking for bedbugs. I did not find any traces of adults, but I found on the walls and ceiling of all rooms of the apartment, and later on the walls of all floors of our house, small beetles that look like bedbugs, while the beetles are not afraid of daylight and can be detected throughout the day.

Can you tell me if these insects are bedbugs? If so, how dangerous is such a massive presence (in the morning hours, the concentration is about 10 pcs. per 1 sq. m, we can say that they are everywhere).

Sincerely,
Alexey

they're not bedbugs, and they're not beetles. I think these are hay eaters (now someone will tell you more precisely).

Thank you so much for the information! That's what I wanted to know!
I suspected that it wasn't a bug, but I was confused by the dark contents that can be seen inside the insect in the second photo.

For hay eaters, there are cases from Florida where they have bitten people. And, perhaps, at the same time they introduce an infection. Despite their size, they have strong jaws.

It's not a bug, but rather a tick of some sort. I can't say any more.

Thank you for that, too, because I called him a bug for fun. How small it is for a tick, in the pictures the magnification is x100 and 300x, the dimensions are probably about tenths of a millimeter.

For a tick, this is absolutely normal. There's also less to eat: http://simatika.ru/page/Acarina

I already realized that most likely this is a gamas tick, the question now is how to treat the apartment to get rid of this friendsmile.gif

In the kitchen, behind the ceiling skirting board, I got some kind of incomprehensible and thus frightening insect, a cat. at night, it gnaws at the ceiling tiles and skirting boards, while it rustles very much. He has black paws of about 1 cm and a mustache of 1.5-2 cm, I did not see the body, because in the gap he only managed to stick his mustache and paws. I wanted to pull it out with tweezers, but it squeaked loudly, was able to pull the foot out of the tweezers(very strong in my opinion) and ran along the baseboard, but soon returned again as if nothing had happened.IMG_0379_1_.JPGIMG_0374_1_.JPG eek.gif

Probably a black cockroach smile.gif

27.05.2012 22:15, guest: omar

If it beeps, it's probably a barbel beetle.

27.05.2012 22:23, Kastro

And that they live in apartments and can eat synthetic ceiling tiles and skirting boards?

27.05.2012 22:31, guest: omar

they can't eat synthetic tiles. can eat a wooden house and wooden objects in it, if you are lucky. but most likely, he came from the street by accident.

Hello, help me identify the insect that lives in the bathroom under the baseboard, crawls out of holes in the tile. 5 floor of a 10-storey building, when they moved in they were already there.
The maximum, probably, adult species in length up to 1 cm, width up to 3 mm. There are 2 antennae in the front, 3 in the back(as far as I could see), they run fast enough. The animal is white.
There are also small ones of the same kind up to 3 mm in length, and they also run fast.
For example, on a tile, they start running and "draw" the number 8, then freeze. Unfortunately, there is nothing to take a picture of.
Thank You
