No, it's not them, I watched them, they look completely different ((if you look closely, they have different proportions of the body

I understand that for some reason you answered Elizar instead of me smile.gif, although his post: "They will breed offspring and disappear", for which you thanked him, was not addressed to you at all, but to Severina - a-a.
In your photo, I personally don't see anyone else but Oryzaephilus. As for the proportions, I don't know how you measured them wink.gif. Look better! tongue.gif

Hello gentlemen, here I found at home on the carpet interesting masonry, http://pixs.ru/showimage/SPA0114jpg_5123887_5344775.jpg or rather, my wife found it. only the eggs are not black , but brown-green, I would like to know what kind of monster could do this, my wife is now afraid to walk around the apartment smile.gif. After finding such a treasure, we of course threw out this masonry, but I put a couple in a jar to see what would come of it, a week later I looked, something hatched but it died http://pixs.ru/showimage/SPA0115jpg_1473572_5344807.jpg since the jar was on the balcony. Help me determine !!!

The second photo from above shows the larva of a skin-eating beetle of the genus Attagenus. Often found in homes. Possible Black carpet beetle-Attagenus unicolor Brahm. yes.gif One of the most common types.
In the last photo, it also looks like she is only younger, although the image is not very good.

Hello! Help identify the worms. They crawl on the ceiling, fall and bite. Appeared about 5 days ago. Every day we shoot, and they all appear. Who are they and how can they be deduced? Thanks!!!

The fact that they crawl and fall-I believe, the fact that they bite-no. Can not.

These are most likely grain moth caterpillars. Check your cereals, dried fruits, and so on.

Good day everyone!
There are strange worms in the apartment, they run quite fast. Gentlemen scientists, can someone identify them from the photo and tell me what to expect from them?
Thank you in advance for any response!

Hello! please help us determine who lives in our house. Background, swallows built a nest over the window, 3 days ago they flew away, and on the windowsill(the window is open,it's summer) there was just a mess of these insects. They move around constantly. They were removed from the windowsill, and now we notice them all over the room - on the floor,on the walls.in bed((
And at the same time I got a lot of bites, such as fleas leave, such a chain and a strong allergy. My husband doesn't get bitten. Is it these beetles ' fault? it looks a bit like a bird tick, but they don't seem to be dangerous to humans. Maybe we've got someone else from the birds? although they didn't see anyone else alive..
picture: IMG_2012_08_05_10_23_49.jpg

05.08.2012 14:27, okoem

The photo shows a tick.
If they appeared in your bed and at the same time there were bites, then... what can be the conclusion?

We have huge red cockroaches in Odessa, which are several times larger than the usual "prusak", which lived and continues to live in the city. Moreover, they are larger than a black cockroach, which is usually twice the size of an ordinary prusak in Odessa. These huge prussians are able to use their wings to plan and make sharp jumps. According to my observations, they appeared around 2002, and at first they were only in summer, in very hot weather, at +30 and more. Then they began to live quietly in any weather. And, as I understand it, where they live, there are no small ones.

You don't know what it is? Where did they come from? Or have they always been like this? But I've never heard of them, and the older ones don't seem to have seen them either. And I don't ask anyone outside of Odessa - they don't know such people (I didn't see them myself either in the Moscow region or in Siberia, although I didn't live there for so long). Migrating from somewhere? A mutation?

We moved, found that in the toilet there are such strange midges, up to 5 mm in size. user posted image

Hm... Looks like. On the one hand. On the other hand, the wings are clearly not so transparent. And I'm not sure there's a black spot on the head either. Still, more likely no than yes.

06.08.2012 16:33, Triplaxxx

These are butterflies from diptera, often hatched in sewer pipes. They don't bite. If you really don't like it, put some pipe cleaner in the pipes. It may help.

IMHO Periplaneta americana - something else is very unlikely. They feel quite well in rooms with normal heating in our region, causing panic to citizens with a tender soul constitution.

picture: Periplaneta_Americana.jpg

06.08.2012 18:58, Shtil

Most often bred, running away from terrariumists (they keep them as food for reptiles). In addition, it is not uncommon for periplanes to be delivered in holds, which is quite common in Odessa.

07.08.2012 11:59, fayst79

I used to keep these Cuban cockroaches in the same place.
They multiplied wildly,it was a pity to starve, and they had to let dozens of them out
on free bread. Mostly in basements.

Hello, please help me!I've reread almost the entire topic, but I'm not sure I've pinpointed exactly what kind of insect it is..suddenly there was a lot in the apartment, near the sink in the kitchen, where clean dishes dry, in the bathroom, toilet, in general, mostly where there is moisture, but it also happens in the rooms.when he feels danger, he freezes..even if I flush it in the sink then it tries to get out)I don't know how to get rid of it!When I turn on the light, they suddenly freeze and pretend to be dead..in general, help!I'm very afraid!suddenly they also bite))

here I made two more photos, if it doesn't fit,I'll do it later on a professional camera,
when I take them with a sponge, for example, they collect all the paws under themselves and pretend to be garbage..most of all, where there is water, the rest is probably on the way to it or in search, although I don't know)

It's probably a rice weevil. Check the pic.

Identify the larva.
Unfortunately, there is no photo, but the larva is quite remarkable.
Pale pink color, approx. 8 cm long, approx. 1 cm in diameter, several pairs of suction cups on the front. At the back, the spike is blue in color, about 1 cm long and pointing up and back.
What will come out of it in the spring?

Probably a hawk moth of some sort. For example, pine or linden hawk moth. I do not know butterflies, ask on a branch on cheshkeklyta. They will definitely say.

Yes, I found it in Google - hawk moth, thank you.

Another creature, sort of floured, about 1.5 cm long.

Larva of the predatory bug "Reduvius mummified" (Reduvius personatus Linnaeus, 1758).

This is a weevil or barn or rice, but the meaning is the same-check the cereals and flour, where you find it, throw it all away.

This reminds me of an old joke: once Salvador Dali was robbed and he made a portrait of the suspect. They detained a tram, a dog, two grandmothers and a vacuum cleaner...

For us, too, 13,580 and 2,567 species of insects fit your description, and the methods of controlling them are radically different... Do you need to list all 1257 chemical formulas of substances with which you can get rid of uninvited "guests"??? But not the fact that when you try to get rid of these ... "bugs" you will not go to your forefathers....
Can stop worrying and not pay attention to these "neighbors" ...

Try to catch one and starve it, cover it with a glass, before, in a glass, tape a piece of cotton wool soaked in nail polish remover, and then take a picture at least with your phone right next to it. this will give at least some infu

I can't even catch it, they're very small, even if I crush them with tweezers. Tomorrow the child with the camera will arrive, I will try to somehow manage. But I honestly don't have the strength anymore. There are a lot of them.

No. they're round. round body and head. legs in my opinion 6. they are very difficult to see through a magnifying glass. They are white on a black background.

Then it would be better to take a photo really. Or it may be that you will find similar ones in this topic.
