Damn it, I also, thank God, live in a safe area, a nice clean and dry house, and the floor is generally the 17th, I can hardly get here if the elevator breaks down, and before the repair of this animal absolutely was not. It turns out that if you leave your home for 3 months, then you will have to wait just as long for its new inhabitants to grow up and show their true face... Most importantly, I can't understand why these creatures do not spread all over the apartment, but come to die in one corner of one room, where I am guarding them.

29.08.2012 0:37, Кот-Кот

I am glad that I entertained you with my little problems like bedbugs, but after reading the forums, I really worry, and that's why I ask for advice from you, those who really understand something about this animal.

29.08.2012 0:48, Maksim M.

I am not the main expert on bedbugs, but there is a main one-this is for sure, this can be explained in more detail and convincingly only from a scientific point of view,we can only assume the following option: when installing a new house, when locking concrete-containing structures, the flora and fauna of the biotope corresponding to the situation was formed, during the entire period-2-3 For example, bedbugs are predators, they formed a population that fed and multiplied in accordance with the existing conditions of existence, then people, including you, began to settle in and repair apartments, and as a result, you simply push them into oblivion, like older representatives of civilization.Well, what is not the plot of a horror movie, with a good ending,Katya?

I suggest an option. If they do not leave you, put 2 video cameras in the place where they move as much as possible. We determine the older male, it differs from others in size and aggression. behavior. We can't kill him,so we catch him and stick him to a piece of paper alive. We tie it to a piece of paper with a 0.08 mm fishing line, and passing the elevator we drag it up the stairs from the 17th floor to the next house,I think that you can explain to all the neighbors what exactly you are doing. There we leave it, following the pheromone trail, all nymphs of all ages leave your new building and settle down in another place. And there will be a new message on the forum.R. S. apparently the 2nd episode of the TV series about an unknown animal..

Take a few more photos earlier.

Maybe they're hay eaters. They love humidity (micro-mildew is their food). They are harmless to humans.

29.08.2012 9:45, Pirx

Yes, the hay eaters probably don't jump.

29.08.2012 11:56, Кот-Кот

These friends are so small that they need to do a photo shoot using special lenses. I tried again, but it's hard to get them to pose, the photo is blurry due to the fact that the animal is constantly in motion. Perhaps the new photo is a little better than the previous ones...
Thanks for the suggestion, I'll go read about them on the Internet.

Yes, they are very similar to the cenoid, 99% of them are, but how to deal with them? I understand that the creatures are harmless, but I don't really like being with them...

I wrote that they do not tolerate dryness in the room. But this can't always be done. Although you can try to dry the wall with a hair dryer, or a heated fan. I strongly advise against chemical poisoning, even if it is available. It, this chemistry will also successfully poison your lungs.

I understand, you, 41st, do not want to poison yourself with chemistry, otherwise suddenly I will be poisoned, and they will survive, it will be a shame.
We will dry the walls. I hope our fiends are exhausted.

To all who took part in the identification, a huge SPS!!!

This year we were attacked by such flies (Teply Stan metro station), I am terrified, they are so flat that it is impossible to kill them! I have a baby of 4 months! It's scary!

They can be pierced! In general, as already mentioned above, usually at the base of this food pyramid are zoophiles feeding pigeons.

Hello! And again I)) True, this time without photos, and here's why: in the wooden headboard of the bed, in a kind of niche, white dots (beetles or not, it's not clear) were noticed, very small, like grains of salt. You can see that they are moving. Taking into account the size – I can't take a picture, I don't have such an increase. What can it be, at least approximately? First floor, Moscow, residential area (NEAO).

see above wall.gif
PS tomorrow/the day after tomorrow in the topic "book lice" http://molbiol.ru/forums/index.php?showtopic=407006 = hay eaters I will give a report on the attempt to fight these reptiles, and then I have already moved the walls and ceiling at workmad.gif, we will conduct tests, it will be fun, I invite everyone beer.gif

Hello) help, please! we have small beetles of 3-5 mm in size at home, the elytra are dense, scaly and speckled, before they were not there at all. I can't add photos, I took pictures on my phone, but they are not clear ((((they live on walls, on windowsills, in cabinets, on the ceiling, on the window frame... our house is an old building, like our grandmothers in the village, completely wooden, the attic has been converted into a residential floor. I can't imagine how to find the nests of these insects. I read that you can treat the house with some kind of dry steam, maybe you can still get rid of them somehow? we have a small child and we are very worried about him...

06.09.2012 15:58, fade

Hello! Please tell me what kind of animal it is, what is its danger and how to deal with it?
Caught in a jar while he was alive-the sting (tail) was not visible, then suffocated, legs tucked up and the sting appeared. Kind of bounced around(did you fly fast?) while you were still alive. It looked like a simple beetle, crawled like a bug, two antennae stuck out, now it looks different in the photo, everything is compressed.

Judging by the description, these are most likely skin-eating beetles of the genus Anthrenus. For children, in principle, they are not dangerous!

It is similar to the legtail (Collembola).

Hello dear forumchane! Please help us determine what kind of unpleasant insects live together with us. confused.gif Mostly appear at nightfall, in the daytime they are almost invisible. They bite. They live in the ABK at a metallurgical enterprise. There are both small and large specimens (in the photo-large). If you can please tell me how they can be etched. Thank you in advance...

who could it be? 4 - 5 [attachmentid()=150566][attachmentid()=150566] mm, sitting on the ceiling... they fly. pests or not? how do I withdraw them?

If this is the "south", I would assume an invasive species-the white cicada, Metcalfa pruinosa (Say, 1830). It's a pity that you didn't specify the place of photographing.

After the vacation, unknown substances were found in the toilet, which were distributed in large numbers over the entire surface of the toilet tank, giving it a rough surface. Semi-transparent, move sooo slowly, about the same size, much less than 1mm (at first I took it for construction dust, which suddenly began to spread ). After a thorough cleaning with Domestos, the situation repeated itself a couple of hours later...and now they are also there..and already on the walls!!
WHERE ARE THEY FROM? And how to fight????
We live on the first floor, in an old house. We are almost used to mosquitoes and midges dying en masse on the windowsill. And then there were the fleas..and these, toiletry!!!
The apartment has a persistent aroma of vinegar and bitter wormwood (there is a small child in the house!), and only new types of crawling and flying ones appear!!
Please tell me how to deal with toilet animals (and who is it anyway?!!) and fleas?
P.S. I couldn't take a picture because of the small size of the animals.

Gentlemen, please help me. About two weeks ago, these creatures started chasing around the house:
picture: in.JPG
in1.JPG
in2.JPG
They're pretty fast, but not one of them has left me yet. Not a single one was found in the bed until they were bitten. Caught so far only in the kitchen (one piece) and the rest in the living room, although if cockroaches, then no food or leftovers there, though dusty. No specimens larger than 5-7 mm were found. I noticed that there are more of them, I don't know where they are coming from, I suspect that this is a gift from the neighbors from above – there are big problems with cleanliness. Sorry for the blurry photo of the inverted carcass, it didn't work out any better.

Please explain who they are and how best to deal with them.

Street beetles, in the quarter decided to spend the winter...

They had never made such decisions before. Why don't they smell so small, even when you push them? I'd like to know what might have attracted them.

15.09.2012 23:51, Triplaxxx

These are beetles-ligeids Scolopostethus sp., They feed on all sorts of things - the contents of grass seeds, suck out the hyphae of fungi, etc. Why they don't smell, I don't know, they have odorous glands. Most species spend the winter in the larval and adult stages , so they climb from the street to the apartment.
