In a basin with cleaning and water, black thin worms 4-6 millimeters long were bred. They swim well in water; they dry out without water.

It is suspected that these are the larvae of a triangular fly (smaller than a housefly) with large wings relative to the size of the body.

Please help me define the view.

Thank you very much!

IMG_7007.JPGIMG_7005.JPGIMG_7015.JPGHelp me find out what kind of insect in the apartment appears in the bath in the sink and on the tile and in the kitchen in the sink, about 3-4 pieces per week. They are tiny, half a millimeter, beige-gray in appearance, if you touch them-they jump or take off. We are scared confused.gif

These are hay eaters. So there is high humidity and fungi.

Hay eaters (order Psocoptera). There is practically no danger for you.

Hello! I found an insect the size of a grape seed under the tub. So, it has 3 pairs of legs. I gave him a suicide photo shoot. What can it be?
So far, I've only found one specimen. Do you think their number will grow significantly?

We bought a new apartment. And suddenly my husband and I find tiny insects all over the apartment on the floor, literally half a mm, beige in color, and they jump a little when you touch them with your finger.. They crawl on the parquet floor, on the tiles, and the main thing is that there is no food in the apartment, humidity too.., tk. the apartment is just rented out and there were no other tenants there. How do I find out what it is and how to deal with it???

Collemballs are absolutely harmless animalssmile.gif, so there are wet nooks and crannies somewhere. Regular cleaning - and no one will be there.

most likely a goldeneye larva.

yes, very similar... she probably took me for an aphid ))) and how did you end up in the apartment? This is the first time I've seen this...

Hello. In the morning I left on the bed a wrapper from some kind of cake (with a milk filling of some kind, if it's important, sweet). By the evening, inside the wrapper, as well as nearby it, such creatures materialized here.. Very small (I think 3-4 millimeters in length), resemble ants, red color. Please tell me, is this murvyi, or is it worth worrying about? It is quite difficult to make a photo, due to its small size, but in general you can make out the appearance.

Thank you in advance.

Hello everyone. I'm a new person on the forum!

Today I managed to catch a strange insect in the kitchen. When I look at it, it looks like it's made entirely of dust. At first I thought it was some kind of dead dusty cockroach, because the insect pretended to be dead. And then it began to move and actively. The antennae are slightly curved at the tips, the hind legs like a grasshopper are enlarged and the knees protrude upwards.

Who knows what kind of creature it is? How could it have ended up in my house?

Larvae of the predatory bug Reduvius personatus (Linnaeus, 1758) in disguise, often found in homes, hunt various insects.

And what does the larva eat, what can it throw?

Throw in a fly or a small cockroach.

Dear experts, please help us understand what it is? I take pictures from the walls in different rooms regularly, of different sizes, are these insects or mites dangerous? How can they be in the apartment ? I have two children, I don't sleep, I'm afraid they'll crawl into bed. They're flat, and when you touch them, they feel like they're dead. they will wait for the time and continue to crawl.

This animal is not good for the house: mite Argas sp. (i.e., I can't determine up to the species, m. b. Argas reflexus). They are parasitic mainly on birds, but can also attack humans, biting at night. Carriers of a number of diseases. It is better to get rid of them (by calling pest control specialists). Perhaps you live somewhere on the upper floors (at least close to the roof), and in the attic there is a breeding ground for these mites among pigeons and they enter the apartments through ventilation.

Good afternoon Dmitry, thank you for your comprehensive answer. Yes, I live on the 3rd floor and there are pigeons on the roof, the house is 5-storey, there is also open ventilation. Please tell me I have 2 guinea pigs, can these ticks sit on them and bite even worse, I am very grateful to you !!!

I think they can also try guinea pigs, I don't know for sure (but they won't kill them, of course). These mites stick for a short time and at this moment there are no sensations from bites, but then many people have severe itching (and sometimes more unpleasant allergic reactions). They start to bite people and other unusual victims more actively if the tick population has grown large, and the opportunities for feeding on birds have greatly decreased for various reasons (although ticks can go without food for a very long time, for years).
In general, you need to call specialists to check and treat the attic rooms of the house and other places (ventilation, apartments). Probably the neighbors on the upper floors have a worse situation, we should ask them around...
