AGG, no panic)) but cat and dog affairs, fleas, complementary foods and other "joys" are a very relevant topic! on the Internet, they write that " fleas from cats are not dangerous at all, they do not live on a person.".. ess-but, in our house there are also such " compassionate grandmothers "(feeding families of cats near the house) and not particularly adequate grandfathers who keep 4-5 dogs in a small apartment-that's the only way fleas can come from such shots!
Is the situation with bedbugs completely rotten? I wonder what the situation is with them in the Moscow region (and in the Tver Region, in particular)...

19.08.2012 8:40, AGG

Live not live, but....they bite and it is no longer pleasant.
"In the body of fleas, tularemia, pseudotuberculosis, brucellosis and many other bacteria persist for a long time without losing their virulence. Fleas of cats and dogs serve as intermediate hosts of helminths: cestodes of dogs and rats" - SanPiN manual.

The situation with bedbugs in the Moscow region and others like mini is extremely grim and labor migration strongly contributes to this.

Thanks to everyone who found it in dried fruits, flour, and starch. Everything was thrown out! But as I understand it, this is not enough, do I need to process the cabinet with something? And after how long do adult beetles die, they just crawl around the apartment?

You don't need to process anything. It is only necessary to prevent these beetles that still exist from getting into new sources of their food. And check dry cereals from time to time. Everything will pass.

Tell me, and after how many adult beetles will die?

Dear experts, Today, while walking with my son on the school playground, we found such a monster (about 3-3. 5 cm in size)! I suspect that this is a Tsetse fly, similar to the picture, although where it comes from in Canada... Can you tell me what this terrible beast is? Thanks!

Thank you for the answer, they calmed me down, otherwise I was worried that it might be something dangerous. he was right next to my hand, and I screamed so hard that all the squirrels ran lol.gifaway , and then I thought I might have caught some kind of infection.

Dear residents of the forum, help me recognize the insect that overcame my kitchen to know how to deal with it.
I have long noticed that the cabinet and everything that I put there is covered with a layer of coarse dust similar to semolina, but I never attached any importance to this, because the furniture is old + I wash dishes with folk remedies and thought that it was either dust, or the remains of a vegetable-based detergent. But yesterday, when I picked up a jar of honey (which was also in the cabinet), I found that this "dust" was moving! Looking closely, I found an awful lot of very small insects, white in color (even translucent), probably 0.3 mm in size, less often there are a little more about 0.5 mm and they are darker, rather light brown.... There are an awful lot of them, they COMPLETELY clung to the entire cabinet, and everything that is put in the balls (for example, dishes after washing) after some time is also covered with them. I don't keep much food in this cupboard. There were only tea and other herbs, sometimes I put cookies there, well, my main suspect with whom I have already said goodbye is a loaf that stood there for a long time after the wedding in a package.
By the way, the apartment is rented, the wardrobe is old, and I settled here 1.5 months ago, including it is possible that they were already here...
Please help me figure it out!
The photo shows what my camera was able to capture...

these are not insects but ticks

23.08.2012 13:28, captolabrus

These mites love dampness and moist organic residues. Dryness is their enemy.

23.08.2012 13:32, Goldfinch

Thank you for your prompt responses! Are they dangerous to humans? The fact is that I'm pregnant, and I'm worried about whether this will affect my health. And what is the name of this tick?

should they meet in Tambov or not?

Without a doubt! yes.gif

23.08.2012 23:51, Triplaxxx

For absolutely healthy people, they are not dangerous, but their secretions and linden skins cause allergies in many people. But their very appearance in such numbers can not be called normal. Something is wrong with the humidity, the amount of organic residues, and possibly fungi.

24.08.2012 11:55, Goldfinch

I can not understand, it seems that the humidity is normal, fungi are not visible with an unarmed look.... is it really from the fact that there were washed dishes???.... And what if you wipe this cabinet with a solution of dog shampoo from fleas??? Should it help? (I immediately took all the dishes away)

24.08.2012 12:03, Goldfinch

and another thing: I wash my dishes with a natural remedy based on orcica and horsetail, maybe they just liked it????

25.08.2012 15:48, Yuliytch

Please tell me who it is? They appear in the bathroom, but today I also saw them in the kitchen. Very small, red-haired almost transparent, and still jump. What is the harm from them and how can they be removed?

Probably hay eaters. They love humidity.

Hello! Please help me find out who it is? We live in a new apartment with a new renovation on the top floor of a five-story building. There are a lot of such insects in the apartment, they sit everywhere - on the wall, on furniture, etc. I want to know who they are and how to deal with them. Thank you in advance)))

These are moth flies (Psychodidae) - such small mosquitoes: see http://www.coleop123.narod.ru/raznoe/Psychodidae.htm

28.08.2012 23:01, Кот-Кот

In a new newly renovated apartment, beetles started up, sooo small, at an early age, apparently almost transparent, then they darken a little, some stripes appear on the body, they don't really look like ticks, more like some super small cockroaches, size 110 mm. They don't crawl, jump, or fly. They live, as I was able to understand, in approximately the same place - in the hall in one corner and on two adjacent walls, on other walls and in other places of the apartment, they have not been found yet.
Tell me what kind of miracle animals they are, how dangerous they are, and how to deal with them.
Thank you in advance.

Katya, if your apartment is decorated all in this way, then beetles will always and everywhere, imho. They will not be puffing-why is everything in place?..This is humor. In photo 2, is this mounting foam?

28.08.2012 23:21, Кот-Кот

No, both the first and second ones have decorative plaster, and it's also covered with varnish on top, so in theory, someone shouldn't have started up in it...
Can you tell me about the beast???

28.08.2012 23:38, Maksim M.

They just end their life cycle, and next year-the season-they simply won't be there.Your living will be cloudless!!!

28.08.2012 23:40, Maksim M.

R. S..If it's not bedbugs, it's all different!

28.08.2012 23:41, Кот-Кот

What makes you so sure?"
No, it would be great, if so, I would be really happy, because fighting the invaders was not exactly part of my plans right now. What are these cute creatures called? If they are already attached, I want to know about them all smile.gifYou know what their names are, I will at least read about them on the Net...

28.08.2012 23:43, Кот-Кот

How do I know if they're bedbugs or not??? They are very maaaalenkie and what I posted is probably the most successful photo shoot of them, especially since the specimens in the photo are no longer alive...

28.08.2012 23:50, Maksim M.

Bedbugs can have a fully formed form that grows, has the appearance of an adult insect, feed at the same time, and then fuck, and have offspring, etc.Wait 3-4 months,I think your concerns will disappear and become the property of history.

28.08.2012 23:55, Кот-Кот

haha, that is, wait until the cute little ones grow into big ones and start biting, and then call the SES? isn't there a faster way? Maybe they can be sprinkled with some yummy thread, I don't want to wait until they start eating us frown.gif

29.08.2012 0:08, Maksim M.

Katya, if they are predators, then they will love the nest of careless and not clean neighbors, my advice is to get ants-they will definitely eat them, I apologize - again humor..Yes, they will not grow more than the required amount, but they can take the number..Be strong and take heart, humor again..

29.08.2012 0:14, Кот-Кот

Oh, and you're a joker, Maxim smile.gifEt it's good that you don't have any pets here, but you laugh at the happy owner...no, to give some good advice...except for " take heart, Katya. "..

I have a new house, 9th floor, dry,no smelly garbage chute, I warned all the neighbors of 36 apartments about keeping animals-dogs and cats.Your animals lived their own lives before you, then Katerina made a European renovation, they have only one prospect-either forget the road or die, so a little time and everything will get better, there will be no hated beetles, you will get bored, call us, we will bring new ones and-here it is,again the problem plus fresh communication..Life goes on.Sincerely Maxim.
