Cantns, brachypters live on the banks of a small river in Marienburg.

11.10.2021 16:39, Cantns

Thank You

11.10.2021 16:50, Cantns

They still live in the Tosnensky ph near the caps in the swamp

Marsh fillies are still available in Kolpino.

18.10.2021 15:45, Cantns

They were still in Kupchino on the same field until it was built up,

24.10.2021 9:16, TheKatydid

And it was necessary to redraw oil on canvas, and then scan umnik.gif

ENO, I'm sorry, but even I don't quite understand.

24.10.2021 9:21, TheKatydid

In the meantime, most of my nessetii were dead, probably due to lack of moisture. But one remained, and now lives quite well.
But the grasshoppers caught in the spring and early summer have already died without a trace. But the female Gampsocleis sedakovii laid 60+ (!!!) eggs. By the way, I still have the most favorite sedaks-they are variable in color, voracious and aggressive, they constantly fuss during the day. In general, a mixture of tettigonia and decticus in character, I would say.

27.10.2021 7:47, Cantns

And I recently died the last female decticus

03.11.2021 8:04, TheKatydid

And I recently lost the last female decticus

press F to pay respect, as they say. My last blacksmith, Viridissima, died on October 14.

03.11.2021 9:25, Cantns

In a netted aviary, grasshoppers (decticus) live longer, are very active in old age, which is very encouraging.

The record of the female is 4 months of adult life+2 months of childhood, she was born in early April, and then from the age of 3 she became swamp-green.the male lived one month less than the female.

03.11.2021 9:43, Cantns

And all the others lived on average

03.11.2021 9:49, Cantns

I raised house crickets.but how they multiplied ...I grew resel jumps to imago.

Do you also consider uploading photos to the forum using such a sadomasochistic method to be normal? Therefore, people have normal photos taken from the camera as expected, and not through *opu, do not load weep.gif

04.11.2021 20:43, Cantns

Ino,that you got to the bottom of my photos, but I agree not very much.

And can photos of mobile pixels of the fotik display be "very"? Why don't you change them to normal ones? And yes, in addition to the fact that it is appropriate to download images from a digital camera via a cable or card reader, and not through a screen (which you seem to have already learnedmol.gif), you should understand the benefits of such a procedure as resize. Now one of your "smoker's photos" takes up about the same amount of server space as 4-5 photos of a healthy person weep.gif

You misunderstand me. I'm talking about what you explain, so to speak, is not very clear.

You misunderstand me. I'm talking about what you explain, so to speak, is not very clear.

In particular, there are some terms or expressions that are not clear to everyone. I don't really understand what it means to "redraw with oil on canvas", how to scan, and what a frame reader is. Of course, I can go to Google, but even there it is not always explained very clearly.

09.11.2021 17:00, Cantns

redraw with oil on canvas-everything is simple here: use oil paints or pastels to redraw on canvas.(canvas-the canvas on which artists paint) shuffle.gif

Who do you think is stronger than the mottled grasshopper or the praying mantis

05.12.2021 16:28, DanMar

I now still have a male caudata living since the summer, caught in the south in the exclusion zone of the railway, brought, he did not mate particularly, a domestic female grown up killed/ate. A week ago, the jumping leg was thrown back, and the last female Gampsocleis shelkovnikovae died somewhere around the same time, so they live quite a long time. The conditions are really cool, perhaps because of this he lives so long, I give him oatmeal porridge, I water it once a day. LED lamps without a diffuser provide additional illumination, but they don't particularly like to bask. Previously, all the time he sat in the cage on top of the thick mulberry leaves, did not come into contact with the soil, maybe this saved him.

Powerful male with good health caught) such would be used for introduction to culture

It depends on the situation, the type of praying mantis and how attentive the opponents are. But religion and caudates can eat. Another thing is that decticuses are more often just gluttons than hunters... Yes, and compare by Bayam, to put it mildly, not very.

13.12.2021 19:35, TheKatydid

By the way, I got information on the content of a rather interesting species Hexacentrus mundurra. In short, the interesting thing is primarily in the wings of the males - they are slightly swollen and very wide, the chirping also sounds (like all Hexacentrus). Well, in general, it's not much more complicated than tettigonia and even very similar-except that they are much more aggressive, and, of course, they need a little more moisture. And so they live quietly at temperatures from +16 to +25-28 degrees Celsius, eat almost any invertebrates that come across, lay eggs in the ground or rotten wood, incubation of eggs, depending on the conditions, lasts from 6+ months to only 2-4. That's it.

There was a time when I mixed gray and singing blacksmiths in one container, kant was very aggressive and even attacked gray, but he repelled the attacks.

14.12.2021 17:39, Cantns

By the way the grasshoppers bred at home are less aggressive when you pick them up than dikie

02.04.2022 14:00, TheKatydid

Hello everyone As I can see, no one writes here for a very long time. We need to fix this case. In general, on 25.03 I got a tailed grasshopper from an egg laid that year. I still have a couple of such eggs-another dozen lies, the eggs themselves were generously provided by Vova (Koles). The grasshopper itself feels quite well, eats nymphs of marble cockroaches, gammarus, cereals of various cereals, carrots, I think I can also give apples.

Hello everyone! I'm back! This year I almost did not study straight-winged birds, and today I found meconema thalassinum right in Moscow on a lime tree. The question arose, how to keep it and what is the probability that the female is fertilized? And is it difficult to incubate eggs of this species?

Tell me, is akrida (presumably Hungarian, from Kalmykia) really at home to keep? What to feed?
