Hello, after what time do stick insects hatch? I have Bacillus rossii, laid eggs for more than a month ago and so far no one has hatched. shuffle.gif

I don't want to disappoint you, but they can be released within 4 months. So you still have to wait and wait.Don't lose hope and wait......

Two hatched today! One died like, the second walks. Only I noticed that they can not completely pull their paws out of the egg? What should I do?

Yes, there is nothing to do,over time, the remains of the egg themselves fall off.And dying is quite natural. So don't worry. wink.gif

By the way, about the conditions for eggs. Apparently, your poor fellows have little humidity, I often had wild sticks coming out, and the egg was hanging on the hind leg, but when I sprayed several healthy ones with a spray gun the next day at once. Only here came out my sticks in plastic dishes and all night hammered on the walls of these eggs I'm talking about the unexpected (there are large eggs) had to tear off, this is by the way better. If you get the hang of it, you can also remove eggs from such small ones, but if the foot comes off, then it's okay, a new one will grow back. By the way, try to put a saucer of water under the eggs (in short, come up with a design from what you will find) the humidity will be constant. I want to do that now, too. And then spray wet - sometimes you forget, sometimes you overdo it. and then we'll share our experience.Good luck with your breeding.

Hello. And how to store eggs and regulate the birth rate? Can they be stored for a long time, and will they hatch later? Please share your experience. Thank You
