Hello everyone!! my name is Maxim.
I'm new to entomology. Recently I started to get involved in this business and as I studied materials, books, photos and videos, I began to really fall in love with these beauties(ev). I've only ever seen cabbage rolls in my life, so imagine my surprise to find out that max. the butterfly's wingspan can reach 30 cm! The entire life cycle of the butterfly had to be observed on BBC programs, Discovery Channel, etc. I dream of seeing this action in reality, so to speak-with "my own eyes"...
Therefore, I really want to learn how to breed them, creating any living conditions.
I myself am a physicist by profession. Therefore, simulate the conditions of temperature, pressure, humidity, wind, and so on. it won't be too difficult.
I appeal to you for professional advice, instructions and recommendations on how to properly care for them, how to properly feed them and in what conditions to keep them? What kind of literature should I read?
If you have any eggs, caterpillars or pupae of any kind that you could provide to a beginner, I would be very grateful and grateful to you!
Thanks for your attention!

By the way, on the forum there is one topic from which you will learn a lot of useful tips, called *How to get a butterfly out of a pupa or caterpillar *
Look for it in the Insects in the house section.

Does anyone have at least one egg or one caterpillar, which it would not be a pity to give a try to grow? cool.gif
