Microscopic worm

Community and ForumHow to get rid of insectsMicroscopic worm

We moved into a new house, everything is beautiful, clean and new . For the 4th time in a month, I see a crawling worm, sometimes on the curtain, sometimes on the wall, the size of 5 mm long and probably half a millimeter thick. It was built very well , construction and repairs were controlled by ourselves, the furniture is new. What kind of animal ? It looks to me like the larva of a bug of some kind , when zoomed in, the legs are very clearly visible. maybe something warmed up from the warm floor, but from where ? And not a mass invasion, but 1 time -1 worms, and so on 4 times.frown.gif

Well, what kind of "microscopic", if as much as half a centimeter? wink.gif
Indeed, the larva of a beetle from the family Carabidae (ground beetles). Getting into a home is accidental, no harm done.

In fact, ground beetle larvae are in the apartment... and even crawling on the curtains... To put it mildly, not very usual.
But I can reassure you that they don't eat people smile.gif

And this is not an apartment, but a private house. There's a lot of people out there.

uh-huh, she would have laughed with pleasure smile.gif)) it looks really funny smile.gif) but maybe this is not a lechinka of ground beetles of some kind. in appearance, the legs are not visible, it looks like a red worm, such a nimble one. the fact that the legs are seen when you increased the frame . I think that someone warmed up from the warm floor and found a loophole near the window (stained glass ) crawled into the room, or sinning already on the furniture. maybe something in the tree or something...
