There is an outbreak of breeding unpaired, a couple of thousand females collected and soaked in a bucket.

We have a lot of them, too, but they fly in waves: a couple of days full of them, then a couple of weeks only a few, or even none at all. Then everything repeats. At first, I thought that the dependence on the phases of the moon, but no: some peaks fell on the full moon, and some recessions-on the new moon, so it's something else. There have been 5 waves since the beginning of June, so the voltage has nothing to do with it either. So it's an incomprehensible phenomenon. With other butterflies, I did not notice such a pronounced periodicity.

I had to get up at 4 in the morning (and went to bed at 2: 30!), at 5 we left Zhukovsky, at 7 we were at the first point.

4) Still took in Stolbovka a good bug Pinthaeus sanguinipes, lucky me on them.

On Monday night, I caught light in Belopesotsky, also nothing special, not counting Agonopterix melancholica and Depressaria silesiaca. There were more hopes, I had two nights there this year with five new species each.
