La Amistad National Park is still the wildest and most unknown...a huge forest area crosses the border of Costa Rica and ends in Tipanti National Park, where you can find the most expensive and rare golden beetles, large mammals and of course the jaguar.

Good morning, gentlemen.

I'm going to Ecuador next year, so I'm interested in the following:
1) What is the best clothing to take?
2) What is the best way to pack the material?

Thank you in advance for your answers.

Hello gentlemen entomologists! Can you tell me when and where it is better to go to Peru to collect rhinoceros and deer beetles? And can they be exported from Peru? do you have any experience?

From Peru, insects can be exported in two ways :
1. Counter-propaganda, as most entomologists do, but Peru has one of the most serious laws on this subject( from two to five years of the real term) . Most likely, a few beetles can be removed by checking in the luggage. but if for some reason they find it, then...
2. If you set a goal, you can use the Internet to find guys who will make an official export permit, but this requires time and money. So you need to make a fuss in advance and it's better to ask for feedback on the activities of a specific person you find. They can also help with the collection, but this is again extra money.
At the expense of deadlines. I don't have full information, but as far as I know, it's autumn October-November.
