Comment on the Tarsolepis clephanlerum species (removed from the database 09/24/2017 11:31): Alexander, are we deleting (see Pavel’s comment on the forum)?
Regarding the remark that the radius does not work properly, we will check/correct. Regarding the editing - yes, before, when the data took a long time to load, there was a particularly big risk. Now the loading is much faster, this shouldn’t happen anymore. For the future, we'll block the form fields until the map and data are loaded.
It is necessary not to block, but to remind the user to enter geography, if possible. And not only when uploading, but also later, for example, through an email newsletter. This is in the plans.

Alexander, it won’t make a difference for the reputation whether the identification is indicated in the comment or right under the photo (and you can always indicate that the identification is based on a photo). But for a more explicit display and, for example, for searching by the person (who identified) - it can be very convenient. Of course, only with the consent of the person himself.

So, let's play nice and discuss problems, if they appear without rushing into extremes. If someone doesn't photo dead specimen in principle, then he has right to their beliefs. Whoever collects insects, has the same rights to his own. Peace, love and understanding!
Gentlemen, let's calm down. It's just online-misunderstanding between photographers and biologists...
Let's call you in the evening, and bring the views together in one. P. S. And yes, this is a comment on the idea of the view, not the photo;--)
Corrected data. Lepidoptera / Confidently identified / Vladimir Bobow → Odontopera bidentata / Tentatively identified / Irina Nikulina.
It is quite possible that the white balance has shifted here, and in real life it was not so yellow.
