Yes, Spirama helicina looks more similar.

The same at funet.fi, but there are lots of species. I added one to the catalog, just in case. :)

If look at the serious website jpmoth.or, possible to say this is Spirama helicina (Hubner, 1831), http://www.jpmoth.org/~dmoth/80_Noctuidae/09Catocalinae/framepage%20catocalinae2.htm, another retorta: http://www.jpmoth.org/~dmoth/80_Noctuidae/09Catocalinae/framepage%20catocalinae2.htm.

I'm not a Noctuidae pro. If it was something of diurnals, I could say 100% sure. There only guesses. Wait for.

Enough for moving from undetermined to uncertain, or not?

30.11.2011 16:39, Dmitriy Pozhogin

If I'd only knew where it from. Judging by other species, this is Southeast Asia. Supposedly, Speiredonia (Spirama) retorta.

Woe, the species is not identified. Can't close the collection.
