  • Япония (повсюду), п-ов Корея, Китай, Гималаи ( С Бирма, Непал, С. Индия
    Регионы России : Хабаровский край, Амурская область, Приморский край, Сахалин, Ю. Курилы ( остров Кунашир) [250].

Imago Habitus and Differences from alike species

  • The body is almost round, slightly convex, broadly oval, and black below. Elytra are orange, red, with black bands or black, with red, orange spots, sometimes completely black. Pronotum is black, with broad yellowish-red sides.. The body below and legs are black, the whiskers are dark red, with a black mace. [250].

General info about Imago

  • Forest area. It is common in cedar-deciduous forests on Juglans mandshurica. It develops mainly due to larvae of the leaf beetle Gastrolina thoracica Baly [250].
