The new interface Communities

Community and ForumWebsite news and updatesThe new interface Communities

Peter Khramov, 12.12.2012 21:54

Now in the Community shows not just the last tape of comments, and the comments are divided into subsections:
My Subscriptions - comments to the topics fotam and species to which you subscribe. And on that you signed? And those writers whom you are or comments which left earlier.Open discussions - unfinished discussions and unanswered questions.
Comments to the photos and comments to the species - similar to the previous interface.
Last entries - also without comment, popular blog - the most popular entries.
All titles are sub-links to the corresponding full sample.Furthermore, such links are duplicated for each comment block. For example, clicking on the "My Subscriptions", you go to a page with all the comments, to which you subscribe.
Thus, the comments for further discussion and comments to your fotam not lost under countless "Photography transferred from inaccurate".In this sample, it was on the front page of the old interface, the Community is now open for the major link "All comments" on the right.
If someone will notice - it became better or did not - unsubscribe in the subject.
ZY Screw golosovonie (see. The right block).

There is a thought that one of the major flaws of the new interface - the absence of an explicit reference to the last few comments (to which they may be - to fotam whether a species or even what). Who that thinks right idea or not?

Peter! And if you make a reference to the page "All recent comments" for those who want? I think that will be good and will suit all.

Eugene, it was from the outset - the headline in big letters on the right of the home page community has work - "All comments". But perhaps it is not sufficiently clear ...

Some users had problems with the output messages in "My subscriptions". Gluck treat, now this section should work correctly for all users.
ZY Date / time of comments in the Community, which have been left less than 24 hours ago, is now highlighted.

Home "Communities" further modified. It should now be seen all over at once. And yes, now the same comments are not duplicated in different sections. Ie if comments have already shown in the "recent comments" in the "Picture comments" we observe the fifteenth time will not.

Was the experiment, when for the sake of more space in the main community does not see the number on truck and species names, and references to them were just a preview image. Result found negative links in the form of numbers and the names of species ph returned.
