We need descriptions of various insects. The average number of letters is 200, minimum 90 - maximum 450. It would be very good if the size, sex differences, ecology, larva, and similar species were indicated. Please do....please....at least provide links to such descriptions (always in Russian). On floranimal.ru and mr1.ru don't give links...

P.S. All sorts of aphids, lice, fleas, etc. are not needed...

Check out issues of the Entomological Review, Zoological Journal, or any other publication. Descriptions in almost every issue. Although I can warn you in advance that the "serious" description does not fit into the framework assigned to you. Always much larger in volume.

PS To be honest, I didn't understand the meaning of the request at all. confused.gif

Judging by the specified requirements for the number of characters, this text will then need to be translated into a foreign language and retold/read. Task in general smile.gif

Then even more strange. After all, descriptions are written in a specific language, like telegrams. They do not require strict compliance with the rules, and such a translation cannot serve as an indicator of language proficiency. shuffle.gif

Eh... Everything is very simple, I make a program (my own and myself) "Encyclopedia of Insects", where there will be various descriptions and photos, a determinant, links, search, etc. So here are the photos I found, and the descriptions of Malov. And the number of characters should not exceed 450, otherwise there will be glitches - I don't know why yet.

Then you have a direct route to the library, for books:
Stanek V. Ya. Illustrated encyclopedia of insects. Prague, 1977
Animal Life, vol. 3. Moscow, 1988.

If there was anything in the library, I wouldn't ask questions or go to no at all !
