I've never been there, and I probably won't....
But there is such an article in English, with a full list of daytime fauna and points.

I was in Jordan. Excursion.
From Aqaba to Um Qais (the northernmost part of the border with Syria).
The closer you get to the north, the more interesting it gets.
It was at the end of March.
I didn't like Aqaba. Nature is very similar to Egypt (Hurghada, Sharm).
Even in spring, everything is scorched and not green.
Definitely must be Danaus chrysippus, possible Catopsila florella.
On the flowers in the hotel area.
Danaida can be caught without a net. with your fingers. Before sunset and in the morning at dawn they sit on the tips of branches.

Good luck!

To cajarc
Thank you, the information from the article is just what I needed smile.gif
However, it follows a disappointing conclusion - it is unlikely that you will be able to catch anything interesting at this time frown.gif

Catch the light, you will definitely catch interesting things. October - many autumn species, including the genera Chondrostega and Eriogaster (autumn species).
