Help identify this horned wonder!
Arthropod 5-6mm long, very fast running, found on 17.09.13 in Nevinnomyssk, Stavropol Territory.
It was sitting on the wall in the apartment... probably brought it on their own (6th floor, but there are no wings)

The larva of some kind of ladybug (Coccinellidae).

Parasites of cockroaches from sem. Evaniidae (Hymenoptera).

Hello!
In the middle of summer, I discovered a similar rider sem. Evaniidae in the dust of a high-voltage switchgear (Stavropol Krai).
It is less than 3 mm long, the wings were missing, the body surface and legs were covered with growths similar to pieces of quartz, which led to confusion (a crawling lump of garbage).
Can riders have such growths on their bodies?
I can't attach a photo yet

Something tells me that it was not a rider, but the larva of the Reduvius personatus bug. Here is the link: http://molbiol.ru/forums/uploads/a002/b038...-1282459905.jpg . Doesn't look like it?

Some kind of bug from Predationers in my opinion. It is difficult to make out something from this photo: there is no other one?

14.10.2013 22:15, Слонотоп

There is no other photo, you can't see him there, but he has a very long, thin mustache. The bite looked like a nettle burn. Can it be a carrier of infection?

14.10.2013 23:51, Triplaxxx

In my opinion, this is not a predator, but most likely Himacerus apterus (Fabricius, 1798) (Nabidae). There don't seem to be any similar-shaped carnivores there. The species is predatory, no transmission of infections has been registered, and the bite is accidental.

Many thanks, judging by my memories, this is definitely Himacerus apterus. Very similar photos on the Internet.

But here is a pass - I'm not a specialist in straight wings. Moreover, it is a nymph. Try to transfer your photo to this topic: http://molbiol.ru/forums/index.php?showtopic=133669 "there are more cricket specialists there. wink.gif
