Ladybug larva

And it is ladybirds (and mostly their voracious larvae) that are the "culprits" of the decline in the"number of ant cows". I don't think it upset you. smile.gif

Thank you, but the ants are chasing ladybirds, and you can't see these ones. We need to transfer them to Kalina. And then there, too, ants settled with their "cows".

there is no separate topic, because they try to identify reticuloptera once a month and then on holidays, and they are determined even less often.
In your case, I think Megistopus flavicornis (Rossi, 1790)

Please tell me, what order does this insect belong to? It sits under the moth's cover, so you'd think it might be a parasite - a fly or a rider, but the venation is suspiciously aphid-like!

Well, it's not clear at all-is it a cicada or a pennywort????? And does it sing like a cicada? It seems that in the Internet some information is turned over to the ears to spite other authors! Thank you, though.

Location-
Bulgaria, near Varna, black Sea...
Please help me determine what they are and whether their bites are dangerous to children?
in the sea appears and children call her "nippers" - maybe someone will figure out what kind of animal this is.
Large, some 25-30 mm long pressed a small one to the belly.
They only move in water, not on sand.Although..on the sand, they also very cheerfully try to slip back into the water.

A marine insect that attacks and bites like a gadfly in August

In August, this marine insect bites underwater without blisters, like a gadfly or a mosquito (as you like). Bites (attacks!) in August on the sandy beaches. It is noticed in the amount of several pieces per hour. But it attacks in August. No attacks were reported in May, June, July, September, or October.

Hi everybody.
These beetles arrived in a container from Africa. We traveled for less than 21 days. The containers contained fish meal. In 3 out of ten containers were found. When opening one of the bags, they were not inside. When loading, of course, they were not there either. The containers are not ours, and we can't say what was in them before that. The container is dry and doesn't smell like anything else

Who is it? And where did they come from?
Thanks
