Hi everybody.
These beetles arrived in a container from Africa. We traveled for less than 21 days. The containers contained fish meal. In 3 out of ten containers were found. When opening one of the bags, they were not inside. When loading, of course, they were not there either. The containers are not ours, and we can't say what was in them before that. The container is dry and doesn't smell like anything else

Who is it? And where did they come from?
Thanks

It seems that the tobacco grinder Lasioderma serricorne (Fabricius, 1792) develops in a dry plant and animal substrate.

They told me it was a bloodsucking fly.
We recently had a skimmer ball, and that's where she came.
but why is it blue inside?

today, on August 10, on mushrooms went (Bratsk, the right side of the Hangar, about 50 km from the city), I saw a beast there smile.gif

in appearance (the front part that is visible in front of the wings) goldeneye. Only here the wings are not transparent, but look like a yellow-brown dried leaf. With streaks and a white border here and there. Size no more than 2 cm. What kind of animal can you tell me?

I tried to take a picture on my mobile phone, I even thought that the photo turned out, but now I looked - it looks like the insect managed to sneak behind the rubber seal of the car door glass. What else is similar to goldeneye - easy to handle/

it is clear that without a photo it is difficult to determine, but maybe the description will suffice

yes, very similar. Only the color seems to be more dense and not so shiny. And the white spots are more pronounced - there are several of them and they are larger

Most likely, pennicornis, but their larvae are very difficult to distinguish (except for the last instar). Both types should be found in the Novorossiysk area.

If I'm not mistaken, this
is a Bedstraw Hawk Moth-Hyles galii
Why did you kill it?.. Yes, it flies noisily, but it is absolutely not dangerous.
Common in the Urals wink.gif

These are such small diptera (like small mosquitoes) - called butterflies (Psychodidae). Harmless: http://coleop123.narod.ru/raznoe/Psychodidae.htm
