Dracus-thank you so much for confirming my doubts. Snapshots 01_003_DSC00048.jpg and 01_009_DSC04029.jpg deleted (so as not to be disgraced).
In the remaining photos, the hands are so distinguishable in appearance that maybe there is a specialist and will tell you at least families

A certain haymaker. Is he a haymaker? And which one... http://www.hramov.ru/gallery/?photo=99

Pentatoma rufipes? http://www.hramov.ru/gallery/?photo=90

Tanyptera atrata? http://www.hramov.ru/gallery/?photo=93

August 2006, night shooting.
The body length is about 5-6 mm.
I thought that these are different types of Pachyderms-Bibionidae, Diptera.

Hello, please help me determine who they are:

user posted image

4 cm long, mustache not less than 7 cm.

A friend of mine picked them up on Pushkin Square 2 days ago. They were freezing in the parking lot. They took pity on them and took them home.
Now there was a dispute as to whether they were ordinary cockroaches, just large ones; tropical cockroaches or crickets. And whether they are kept in the apartment as pets, and if so, where can I find people who need them in this capacity? smile.gif Maybe someone knows?
A friend would keep it for himself, but his family is against "big cockroaches". smile.gif

This is indeed Periplaneta americana (Linnaeus, 1758). A well-known synanthrope. It is widely used as a fodder crop.

But bake them in pancakes, etc., as you were advised, I do not advise - they have a strong smell "for an amateur"wink.gif. I remember my dog's whole appearance feigned extreme disgust and insult when they were shoved under her nose.

An idea! You can carry them (cockroaches) with you to scare off dogs and other evil fauna representatives with a fine sense of smell.

Judging by the yellow base of the wings, it is a male yellow dragonfly Sympetrum flaveolum (Odonata Anisoptera Libellulidae Sympetrum).

Yesterday, this spider was identified as Singa hamata, and there is no better picture. I didn't find anything about this species and activity in winter by this namefrown.gif

Someone, please tell me-what kind of "something" can be found in the bathroom of an ordinary Moscow high-rise building: about 2-3 mm in size, claws like a scorpion (very similar), teardrop-shaped abdomen, dark brown color, moves actively, sideways, but does not jump. Photo in the absence of a normal camera with a normal focus can not offer. Very necessary! confused.gif

16.02.2007 17:38, stierlyz

About the staff - there are two similar types, I do not determine them from the photos.

16.02.2007 17:41, stierlyz

This is a false scorpion - class Arachnid.

16.02.2007 17:49, verser

Thank you. And where did such a miracle come from? On the 12th floor? By the way, if there are any links to images/descriptions, please throw them in. What do they eat anyway? Not like ticks, I hope. wink.gif

16.02.2007 18:02, stierlyz

Search online, Latin Pseudoscorpiones, Chelonethi.

2 verser. False scorpions are not ticks. On the contrary, if you believe the info on http://zooex.baikal.ru/arthropoda/pseudoscorpiones.htm , then they feed on ticks themselves. I have photos on http://okoem.iatp.org.ua.
