Some kind of undefinable membrane, very small 5-6 mm from the head to the tips of the wings. It looks like a sawfly, but there is an ovipositor. Mustache with a strongly enlarged third segment. Photos are complete ... but at least what group does it belong to?

This is Xyela sp. (Xyelidae)
It is not written where and when it was taken, but it is written about the quality of photos wink.gif
If MO, then it is most likely Xyela julii, although if the ovipositor is longer than the body, it is X. longula

Damn, I'm kind of retarded, I didn't even know about the existence of such a family frown.gif
The ovipositor does not protrude beyond the wings when folded.

61-70 - D. New items-Begichevo, Serpukhov district, Moscow region.

First, I would like to write about the importance of camera angles. I would like to see the venation of the wings, the first abdominal segment, and if possible the face. Photos taken strictly from above often do not provide the desired information. Here in photo # 69, all b. m. are normal, and immediately the chances of a correct determination increase. Proctotrupid and braconid can be determined by specialists, it seems like they periodically come here. It is possible that on 65 and 67 - Rogas sp.

61. Cryptinae (Ichneumonidae)
62. Endromopoda sp. (Ichneumonidae, Pimplinae)
63. Braconidae
64. Proctotrupidae
65. Braconidae
66. ? Cryptinae -? Ctenopelmatinae (Ichneumonidae)
67. Braconidae
68. Absyrtus sp. (Ichneumonidae, Ctenopelmatinae)
69. Netelia sp. (Ichneumonidae, Tryphoninae)
70. Braconidae

Then , without variants of Xyela julii (Brebisson, 1818), larvae develop in male strobils of pine trees.

I think it's a male polistov. I doubt that it is possible to determine up to the species from such photos. Try to take a close-up picture of the" muzzle " of this beast or try to determine it yourself starting from here:

Hello! Tell me, please, who hatched from the cocoon of a leafcutter bee. The rider? cocoons were found inside the arrow of a multi-tiered bow in Saratov in August 2013. Total of 4 pieces. In a test tube, a bee hatched from one cocoon (in January 2014), and parasites from three cocoons (2 in February 2014 and 1 in November 2013). Thanks!

Similar to L. unifastistus, and this is the most banal, but I'm not sure for sure.

I think I'll agree with the previous speaker with a small correction:
this ant is very similar to Temnothorax unifasciatus (Latreille, 1798), but I will not say 100%.

South of the Penza region, the edge of an oak forest, large black woodworm ants at the base of an oak on August 13, 2011 (photos # 3333 and 4444) and in the same place a steppe slope, nest in the soil on May 8, 2012 (two photos: 5555 and 6666)

Many thanks to colleagues!!! But who knew that their collections and measurements would be needed... Just now I'm writing a message about the discovery of the steppe runner-Cataglyphis aenescens Nylander, 1849 in the Penza region, so I thought, what species of ants live next to it???

There is an article like this for the Penza Region's regions:
http://cyberleninka.ru/article/n/obzor-fau...zenskoy-oblasti

But not all ants are listed there. Less than half, I think.
You can also view a list of ants in the Nizhny Novgorod region on Krasilnikov's website:
http://www.lasius.narod.ru/antNNovg.htm

Almost all of these types are likely to be available to you.

And when writing the species Cataglyphis aenescens (Nylander, 1849), it is more correct to put parentheses, since this species was described in the genus Formica and then moved to Cataglyphis.

I usually consult with V. A. Zryanin on ants, but now he seems to have left again, does not answer.
I use this article on ants of the Volga region (although the map there is strange-ah to the Kirov region):
Zryanin V. A., Zryanina T. A. New data on the fauna of ants (Hymenoptera, Formicidae) Middle Volga region. / Uspekhi sovremennoi biologii [Uspekhi sovremennoi biologii], Moscow, 2007, vol. 127, no. 2, pp. 226-240.

In the Penza region, ants have not been practically studied so far.

I don't have this job. Maybe share it?
antvid@inbox.ru

In Radchenko's very good work with the Poles:
Czechowski W, Radchenko A, Czechowska W. "The ants (Hymenoptera, Formicidae) of Poland". 2002.
in the description of each species there is a map of Eurasia with the designation of its habitat. There are no country borders on the map, but you can navigate by rivers and seas.
