Alexander, unfortunately I don't have this article and I only found links to it on the Internet. In the other Nemkov determinants, I only have up to a kind of definition. Judging by the green determinant, Harpactus goes as a synonym to the subgenus Dienoplus in the genus Gorytes, while the difference between the genus Harpactus (the medial vein of the hind wings is located far from the end of the anal cell) is also indicated there. Therefore, I can write so that I came to Harpactus elegans Lep. using it, although it is not entirely clear from the ratio of length and width of the front part of the intermediate segment, if we assume that this part is wider than long, then as an option - tumidus Pz.
According to the DV determinant (there are not so many species) - also H. tumidus Pz.

I don't remember, I don't think I showed this crossocerus.
Caught in the south of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Minusinsk, dry meadow, poplar. About 6 mm. Male
Abdomen is black. Tergites without indentation at the base. Tergites are very weak and finely dotted. The last tergite has more points than the previous tergite.
The platypus is black, with 4 prongs at the top. The mandibles are dark brown.
The thighs and shins are not thickened, and there are no spikes on the legs and legs. The middle thighs are hairy from below, but not very long.
Pronotum without sharp corners.
The hair on the head and back is light, pressed down. The lower part of the middle breast is covered with rather long, not thick hairs. The sides of the mid-chest are sparsely dotted and shiny.
The last part of the mustache seems to be straight cut, slightly drawn from the outside.
More like Crossocerus distiguendus A. Moraw male, I admit that it can be C. elongatulus

Most similar to the male Crossocerus distinguendus, although the pictures do not show the pubescence of the lower mesopleur and front thighs. check them out.
Just in case, I send Marshakov's article to Crossocerus.

I looked again at Harpactus, which then began to lean towards H. affinis I give a photo of the hind legs, there in addition to the spurs there is one thick spike. But the last segment of the antennae is not curved.... confused.gif

I think it's Prionyx subfuscatus (Dahlbom, 1845).

Alas, not him! This is definitely not subfuscatus , this is another species that differs primarily in its small size. In this species, the head is densely pubescent with silver hairs so that light reflection is noticeable when illuminated, while in Prionyx subfuscatus, the head is barely pubescent with yellow hairs.

Unfortunately, the copy shown in the photo is "killed", but I personally saw this copy and there are a couple of exactly the same ones in my collection.

I don't dispute it. I also have small ones in my collection that are 1.2-1.3 mm long and large ones that are 2-2. 3 mm long. But I don't see any difference in the pubescence of their heads. One of these days I will be passing material on this kind to colleagues in Kiev, so we will figure it out soon.

And the size of Prionyx subfuscatus (Dahlbom, 1845) is approximately 30-40 mm

Crimea, Simferopol,27.10.2011 leg.Shaporinsky V.

What size is it?
We have similar ones in our museum and are identified as Protichneumon fusorius (Linnaeus 1761) only they are larger in size up to 30 mm.

In general, if under 30 mm, then-Protichneumon sp.

I was in the Kharkiv Museum of Nature and looked at the collections of Ichneumonids, in general, I was wrong and this is most likely Chasmias lugens, and white spots near the elytra lose their color when they dry. Now everything is written correctly.

Guessing the species identity of ichneumonids based on external similarity is pointless. I collected the riders of this subfamily - many species, often similar in appearance to each other. Either painstaking work with determinants, or the help of a specialist. and not a fact. that the specialist will determine the view from the photo.
