No, this is a fresh male skate, either Chorthippus parallelus or Ch. montanus.

No, it's a fresh male skate, either Chorthippus parallelus or Ch. montanus.

After looking at the photos on the internet, I tend to assume that it is Chorthippus montanus

Also something young. Taken on July 3 in the Vladimir region (Krasny Mayak)

To say here, in my opinion, it is impossible to say for sure: the color value of them has little meaning.

can you focus on the" seams"? I mean the configuration of the plates covering the head.

This is probably the eastern sawtail (Poecilimon intermedius). Where did you meet him?"

And the males of those skates, I just looked, differ in that in parallelus the remains of the hind wings do not reach the white spot on the elytra well (if you look at the lumen, for example), and in montanus they almost reach.

I lied about the location of Sawtail's shooting: it was shot on the territory of the Red Mayak forest area in Vladimirskoyo Blasti. I was there on July 3 and 4.

2 Kotbegemot Thank you! retowskii really disappears, because I have met them more than once and know them well. I didn't pay attention to the wings, but the individual color elements are noticeably different from this instance.

By the way, I have a photo of retowskii on my website.

Excuse me, but can I have the site address?
