It is strange that this filly in the KK MO, in the area of Butovo, it comes across constantly and in large numbers in the Bitsy floodplain and along other small rivers.

In new list at least it was removed from the app.

The Red Book of MO is written from the evil one. You can immediately see that it was written while sitting in the office, and not while taking a tour in nature.

But who in the MO caught species of the genera Platycleis, Meconema, and Leptophyes?

22.08.2007 12:18, Alexander Zarodov

By the way, I also saw a male Conocephalus discolor there this year (near the Bitsa River), although I haven't been able to photograph it yet. But, of course, there are significantly fewer of them.

Oh! I look and zheltushek sent to the app, we will search smile.giffor

Conocephalus, and both species are not uncommon in the MO smile.gif

Yeah, I met both types almost in Moscow smile.gif

I think -- nobody smile.gif

22.08.2007 12:34, Насекомовед

I think-no one smile.gif

That's what I think, too. But suddenly jump.gif

22.08.2007 12:37, Sparrow

Konotsefalyusov before this year by the way almost did not meet) and now there are a lot of them flying to the light - even the plate wings were surpassed in number)

22.08.2007 13:12, Насекомовед

The number of straight-winged birds can be indirectly judged by the sounds of males. If manual harvesting and mowing give a negative result, this does not mean that the species is rare and should be included in the Red Book - straight-wings can be secretive "physically", but accessible acoustically smile.gif

Thanks! In the Internet, akrids are not searched for something (I found only information about the fact that they are edible), where would I look about them?

Quote from the book: "in the south of the ER common acrid bicolor." In Latin, the genus is spelled acrida.

In the genus Acrida, the devil will break his head - and before the modern revision, I would not argue about the species.
It is quite possible that A. ungarica occurs in the southern European part, and the Caucasian taxon anatolica belongs to A. bicolor.

Here, I found (filling) in the very east of the Smolny region. I was somewhat surprised by the color. Is this some kind of maggot?
Thank you.

2 - Too small a nymph, pass.
3 - Gampsocleis ?glabra
4 - ?Tesselana vittata or some other Platycleidini. They should be twirled in your hands.
5 - Oedipoda coerulescens
6 and 7-Calliptamus? italicus

Eh, and yet, IMHO, the first frame does not look like Bryodemella tuberculatum or B. gebleri. Another pattern on the thighs and pronotum (or what is it called in erect wings?)...

17.09.2007 18:17, Vlad Proklov

Thank you, Vlad!
Vod, I'm trying to spin in FSH:

Females, by the way, are easier to identify in" Platikleis " than males, at least in Europe. They look at the ovipositor and the 7th sternum of the abdomen (there they have different shaped outgrowths).

By the way, in the caption - Kyzyl, i.e. Tuva, and not the Urals?

According to Storozhenko [2004], however, one can choose from four long-winged species in the Urals and Tuva: Platycleis intermedia, Tesselana vittata, Montana montana, and M. eversmanni; the latter two are not suitable for oviposition. I now think it's more like P. intermedia.

Eh, and yet, IMHO, the first frame does not look like Bryodemella tuberculatum or B. gebleri. A different pattern on the thighs and pronotum (or what is it called in erect wings?)...

Ooo! Drawing doesn't count at all! What kind of substrate - such is the drawing. I don't know, I think it's a typical ratchet build...

Although... Can the back thigh be large? If there is a" step " on the upper edge, it means Oedipoda.

But there are no steps, it's a ratchet.

Or maybe Celes sp.
Something didn't occur to me right away!

The rattles are large and crackle in flight, but the tseles are smaller (I don't know about cod, I've never met them). Both C. variabilis and C. skalozubovi can be found in the southern Urals.

No one , I'm afraid...

IMG_2152.jpg — (142.92 k) - we can assume that this is Phaneropterinae, but 1) from this angle, not a damn thing is visible,
2) this is the neotropics, i.e. "do not believe your eyes".
