When I was fishing, it seemed to me from the blind that there were western ones, but when I looked closely at the pygidia, they all turned out to be eastern... In the photo, the pygidia are slightly different angles, it may seem that they are different. In males and females, there is a known sexual dimorphism along the length of the last tergite.

"Common" - Melolontha hippocastani var. rex Dalla Torre, 1879
But in principle, even in the literature, these color forms are most often not indicated.
