And where exactly in Crimea did you find it?

She has been caught there for several years.

She's been caught there for years.

Oh how! What other points are there?

14.09.2016 13:11, Alexandr Zhakov

This species is listed on Savchuk's website, and Budashkin also said that they fly. Points should be viewed in publications.

14.09.2016 13:18, Vlad Proklov

A search for Crimean publications didn't turn up anything, most likely it hasn't been published yet.

Last year, from August 7 to August 18, in Simferopol, on 1-3 copies of a butterfly saw on a ceiling of an entrance canopy. I haven't seen a butterfly this year. Boxwood grows in the courtyard plantings.

1) curvistrigana is known from the Smolensk, Kaluga and Tula regions.
2) the photos don't have enough scales (coins, rulers)
3) I will wait with interest for the results! =)

Oh well, they are all quite old, all but 5 medium or small (a little mm. up or down relative to Aethes smeathmanniana)

You understand - when there are only seven millimeters, two in plus or two in minus-this is already a difference!

Just make a reservation, what I will write is not a definition, but an assumption, for the definition you need a butterfly and you need to cook it, and so pampering smile.gif
1. Aethes fennicana
2. generally not Cochylini in my opinion, the photo does not give an idea what kind of butterfly.
3. Phalonidia contractana
4. Cochylidia implicitana
5. Phtheochroa kenneli
Then I will continue. smile.gif

Thank you very much! And yet, reliable external signs for distinguishing Aethes from the beatricella-fennicana group do not exist, or is there something?

15.09.2016 16:48, Alexandr Zhakov

If two species are specifically found at one point and both are cooked, you can trace the differences with some probability, but other species may also come out of different points. Each species has certain tendencies, in the thickness of the lines and its length. But in practice, I encountered a complete refutation. Phenology can still help, but specifically at a specific point. For reliability, cook.

It is probably delivered with seedlings.
But there are doubts about rooting near Kiev. But if the finds are found at the same point in different years - it's already interesting!

This year's finds .North of Kiev and the second one to the south. There are a lot of cottages and expensive dachas in those places and boxwood must be growing. I was shining in the sky.in the forest, apparently flew from us. points.

Yes, it's very cool! Not far from the Nupponen point, but already other sands!
It makes sense to look for it in the Dyakovsky reserve in the south of the Saratov region.

To the author - and where is it more accurate on the Archedinsko-Donskiye Peski? And then they are big, where would the point be put?
