When I answered, I understood how you put the numbers in paragraphs. smile.gif, then it is necessary to pass through the point: 5.1, 5.2, 5.3....
smile.gif

Many thanks for the butterfly definitions, and for the tips on using the forum too. But why the images are not displayed in the order in which I load them is still not clear confused.gif. Sometimes the forum has all the frames in the correct order, sometimes the forum rearranges them as it likes. Maybe this is a consequence of the algorithms of Internet protocols, when individual packets go to the target in very different ways, and it is possible that later sent data will reach earlier.

10.10.2016 16:53, Alexandr Zhakov

You can check whether the photo is uploaded correctly in the preview. There is a button like this. smile.gif

Something is not clear, why do you post the same butterfly under different numbers? What would confuse the definers or yourself? And why do the numbers go out of order (11, 12, 21, 22, etc.)? I already don't ask why the numbers don't go in a row (1.2.3.4.)
I'll try to tell you how to fix this, if it's just a question of not knowing the forum functions. You don't upload your photos to the message, but only attach them to it. To upload to a message, click the "Add to message" button next to the uploaded file. Put the number, insert the cursor under the number in the message. again the number, and insert the next photo. smile.gif
71. Anarta trifolii
61. Xestia baja
51, 52, 53 Assumption Euxoa nigricans
41, 42, 43 Hoplodrina, and then presumably
31 angles are murderous, I thought on Mythimna, but rather a female Simyra nervosa
21, 22 perhaps Photedes fluxa
11, 12 here in general pass. frown.gif

Nervosa doesn't have the same head, plus it's unlikely in region 8, but it's probably Mythimna after all. Well, on the last photos some Polia.

Please help me understand! On July 18, 3 caterpillars of the same species were found on nettles. (Aldan, Yakutia) One big one, two small ones. On July 21, the large one pupated, and the small ones shed their skins and 2 cocoons appeared. Who is it? Is this still one type of butterfly? Why did they pupate differently? Could it be related to skinning? Butterflies have never appeared to this day.

the first pupated normally-there will be a butterfly, I hope))
and the other two suffered from parasites that will appear from those cocoons.

Thank you so much for your help. That is, peacock eyes do not have such cocoons! And I dreamed that there would be three butterflies. Is that why the two tracks were so small in size? Sorry, just one more question. I read that " many caterpillars, such as peacock eyes, spin cocoons." Do they look different than mine?

Tell me, please, one more caterpillar. It was found on 29.07 in Yakutia, Aldan, and pupated on 14.08. My suspicions are that this mottled moth is changeable. Is it so?

Cocoons are spun by nocturnal peacocks (Saturniidae), and you have a daytime peacock's eye (Nymphalidae). Yes, they were small due to parasite infestation. Yes, the following image shows a mottled moth caterpillar (A. levana).

Uresiphita gilvata
Ancylolomia palpella
Lamoria anella

or can I not see clearly?, but it's probably impossible to say for sure here:
Ancylolomia palpella / tentaculella, male, differ well in antennae, in the first one they are comb-like and 3-4 times wider, and in the second
one Lamoria anella/ruficostella, although it is not given for Stavropol, it is indicated for the 11th region.

1) Here is a mustache just palpelovye, as on Slamke look.
2) melanophlebia, ruficostella, and jordanis are synonymized with anella by Patrice Lheureux - as is his custom, in an asshole way, in an amateur book - but it seems to be true.

So sign it. Some Western "scientists" recently decided to reduce all the bears of the Palearctic to the genus Arctia and several other genera. Let's not be like this savagery.
