Please tell me about the Penza flies.

1. When you walk through the forest in the summer, they are always spinning in front of your eyes, and apparently they are trying to get into your eye.
I was also very interested in this once)
- Amiota albilabris (Drosophilid). no less common is A. semivirgo , which is mottled-brownish, similar in size and behavior, but so different in color as if from a different genus. In general, the views there are decent, in a good way you need to double-check the key, although there were no green ones (synonymy? a hole? - I don't know).

2. Near a puddle on wet sand on August 4-Therevidae

3. Is this Limonia? August 10. And someone else (- muscida)
4. Is this Limonia? August 10.
- probably both Metalimnobia bifasciata

5 Heleomyzidae-the family is easily distinguished by regular shetinki - "nails" (between them ordinary) along the front edge of the wing.

I haven't heard anything about Paragus biology, I wonder.

Apparently, there are no experts on this group on the forum. According to Plavilshchikov, identifying eels and flies is a thankless task and in most cases unpromising.
