You can ask a childish question: why does a person poop with his ass down, and a caterpillar-with his ass up? confused.gif Does this have something to do with the location of the musculature?
And by the way, whose caterpillar is it? 19.09 sat on a meadow clover and its apical leaf literally melted under her jaws.

children's question: why does a person poop with his ass down, and a caterpillar-with his ass up?

Children's answer: Because a person is a person, and a caterpillar is a caterpillar.

Children's answer: Because a person is a person, and a caterpillar is a caterpillar.

This is not a childish answer, but a Jewish one.

All she normally poops, just the photo judging by the location of the flower is twisted not vertically, but horizontally, that's the whole clue...

All she normally poops, just the photo judging by the location of the flower is twisted not vertically, but horizontally, that's the whole clue...

Not "the photo is twisted", but the flower (or rather, the stem) is placed in a horizontal position for easy shooting. The point of the question was to find out whether, in the opinion of experts, such a pose is common.

how common, according to experts, is such a pose.

The pose is individual for different species. Some this way, some that way. Some lift the back of the body, others don't. Some shoot out excrement, while others may have them hanging in a chain.

I agree with the above arguments, and people are not always (as you wrote) ass down, especially if due to binge drinking shit on the bed horizontally or for astronauts upside down...

Thank you for your enlightened comments, otherwise I thought they were accusing me of pooping a caterpillar myself!
And I also have a photo of a pysayushchy bug, but I don't show it for moral and ethical reasons of public decency.

October 8th? Interesting! This is the Average wine hawk moth: Deilephila elpenor. It's a little late for a caterpillar already...

You have a very young caterpillar, most likely recently released from the egg. For young people, this is normal. After several lines, the proportions will change.
