This is an unfortunate option for country conditions. Of course, if there are no other light sources nearby. Then buy a good halogen lamp or DRV, you don't need to split it, and under good conditions you can catch it quite well.

Back at bursa in Prague last fall, I saw special lamps like super Actinish. A well-known experienced entomologist, looking at this, said: "Do not bother and do not waste money, buy DRL." Indeed, on German, say, sites selling entomological equipment, prices for the same DRV are higher than our Moscow (electrical goods stores) once every ten years! But if they sell, then there is a demand, so people are being led to it.
Of course, in the wild, almost everything in the world will fly to the light of even a simple light bulb, but I collect it in suburban conditions, where, although there is a forest around, there are 30 lamps around, if not more. In such conditions, the use of strong ultraviolet sources is the only effective way to collect such butterflies as crested butterflies, volnyanki, many hawk moth, etc.

I have two DRL 400 and DRL 250 lamps, both cracked! chetyrehsotka hangs at a height of 3 meters, and dvukhsotka on a trefoil stands vertically on a sheet... in general, there is no escape from the light of lamps! from the means of protection I have UV protection glasses (I bought them on the radio market, yellow), a panama hat and a sweater, and I always turn up my sleeves! neither burns, nor eyes of patients at me for 3 years were not observed... maybe you have animals like drl 700 or 1000? but such things are only UFOs, not butterflies....
