Yes! this is a very important question! umnik.gif

If there is a large order, I can send a car from Riga smile.gifCzech, but not "stainless steel", i.e. black.

If it is serious, then see the prices below. www.kabourek.cz 2.30 EUR per pack, probably, is the same 3 USD. Vit accepts both cash and bank transfers (both postal and bank transfers), as well as Western union and PayPal.

I tried it, ordered a sliding straightener. We'll see what happens. There is no response to the email yet.

27.07.2007 10:15, Шастик

If it is not difficult to put up a photo of the resulting straightener. It is interesting to see this spectacle.Thank you in advance.

Does anyone have pins that don't cost more than$3?? I want to take them in Moscow, but not expensive ones

I still have three euros each.

27.07.2007 10:46, Pavel Morozov

And it's cheaper than at the poultry market.
And, in general, who is confused by this price, on some sites the same Czech pins for 3.5 and 4 euros. And people buy.

The quality is different, so the price is different. Morpho is far from the best! There are Czechs who make for the Germans (for example, sphinx). They are much better quality, durable and, accordingly, more expensive. I don't use Morpho myself.

Yes, of course, and delivery to Moscow probably costs money (mail, for example).

In the Moscow store, just sell Sphinx. At 150 rubles per pack.

Is there a person from the Czech Republic back? No one knows? They said that he will eat at the beginning of July, and already the end confused.gif

27.07.2007 17:21, Pavel Morozov

there's no sign of Morpho anymore.
By the way, there are two companies in Pardubice - Monarch and Entosfinks. For sure, there is only one factory, but two or more implement it.

27.07.2007 21:09, Proctos

Oh, these legends, which Czech brand is better! smile.gif
Morpho, Monarch, Entosphinx are all poured from one barrel
, but there are also Bohemia, Austerlitz, and so on.
The difference between the two is subtle. This is who likes what, like new European cars.

How, where, and for how much can you get them?

29.07.2007 21:20, RippeR

once, my dad corresponded with employees from China who sent 3 packages or a little more.. How to get it?? You need to talk to China and Japan, I don't know any other ways frown.gif

30.07.2007 0:52, omar

Sorry. Let's do this - push your dad. Every third pack is yours. Here's the deal. All right?"

30.07.2007 1:25, Proctos

I Googled and found that in Japan they cost 250-400 yen
In Europe they cost 4 euros.
Difficulties with paying from Russia are still the same. You need to go to the online store and pay with your bank card. It costs nothing.

There are actually at least two firms (in the Czech Republic). There are several "brands". Morpho is still alive (or selling off old stocks). The difference between "brands" is sometimes quite noticeable, as is the price. Personal experience...

Update!!! The Czech dude is back smile.gif

"Entomological equipment was received from the Czech Republic: straighteners of 14 varieties, nets of 5 sizes, collection boxes of 30*40, 40*50 cm of 6 types, Sphinx pins and minutiae (more than 120 thousand pieces), dies, exhusers and other materials."

Yes. Boxes of quality lower than the baseboard, are 1300 made of birch, the bottom of the fiberboard on paper clips eek.gifCardboard boxes also of the same company Sphinx, pasted over with some black oilcloth for 770 eek.gifExhauster of the cheapest plastic, curve, all in a layer, opaque, in the hands of take nasty-450. But the straighteners are good, but I didn't ask the prices, I don't collect butterflies.

Black boxes from Sphinx are very common. First of all, for transportation of mounted material. I do not recommend storing anything in these boxes for a long time - the lids are not quite dense. I.e., they are kind of dense, but not as much as in high-quality wooden boxes. The price, however, of these black boxes is very attractive (at least in the Czech Republic). With a glass top - 16 eur, with an opaque one-15 eur. You can get a good discount if you take it in bulk. These boxes are also high, for larger beetles (6.5 cm). These ones cost 1 eur more.

Yes, it seems to me that Sphinx is a former Morpho. Just changed the sticker. Maybe I'm wrong, though.

Do you have the opportunity to get hold of the best oak boxes for permanent storage of material there? Only really, do they make them at a truly premium level in factories? And how many euros will it be? By the way, Dmitry, post here photos of those pins that were sent to me by mail. So that people can see, rate, and choose. wink.gif

31.07.2007 10:25, omar

The nets are there only for butterflies on the fly. I haven't seen any alternatives to my melee racket design yet. lol.gif

31.07.2007 10:35, Zhuk

Is the stick and rim normal? I don't need their grid.

Photos of pins will try to post. I'll look for others as well. My place is almost over on the forum, it will be hard to attach a photo.

Boxes: I can personally recommend 2 companies in Germany. There are, of course, in the Czech Republic, Latvia, Estonia, and Poland. Some I've seen, some I haven't.

Estonian (firm, I think, in Pärnu, boxes from Boeeza): I DON'T recommend it. Not top quality. Average. The lid does not always fit snugly, the corners are sometimes slightly rounded, etc. Prices were (2 years ago), it seems, 16 eur for 50x40x6 cm.

In Latvia, you can order very good boxes in carpenters, but only from pine. However, firms really don't like to take small orders (less than 200-300 units). And the price is very high, the last time for 45x40 cm asked for about 50 eur.

I didn't see the Polish ones myself. They say there are some very good ones. Not expensive, about 18-25 eur. I can get the info if you're interested.

Czech Republic: the choice is large. Good opportunities to order simply in carpenters.

Germany. I take it myself from Schunke, http://www.schunke-tischlerei.de/index2.htm The quality is excellent. Sometimes, however, there are still small rounding marks on the corners. Very minor ones. Tree-spruce or alder (I take alder). The company has a solid experience in the production of boxes. Many museums, such as Erfurt and our museum in Riga, order from her. The price of Schunke is slightly lower than other German manufacturers, about 23-26 eur.

There is another company that has been producing boxes for more than 100 years. If I'm not mistaken, they also had oak ones. We need to look up the address. But there the price was from 36 eur per box.

The rims are very flimsy. Sticks like nothing, made of carbon fiber. There are telescopic sticks like fishing rods.

We also have the opportunity to order very good boxes in our carpenters ' shops. The question is that as it was noticed, no one wants to do little. And if they are taken, then, accordingly, for very good money. I am interested in the size of 30x40 and 20x30, the price is up to 50 euros. Wood - oak. Bolivar, give a place for a person under the picture!

If I did a Google search on Insektenkästen, I got a lot of responses for Austria, Germany, and Switzerland.

A few days ago, I wrote to someone named Alexey about this. I hope to get an answer.

By the way, if I delete one of my photos, the space should be free up, I deleted one photo, but nothing has changed...

Here's more. Are there specialized kits for preparing beetle genitals?

What do you mean by sets? And for which animals (large/small, what units, etc.)?

31.07.2007 13:32, omar

Well, something like: a microscalpel of a certain shape, a special crochet needle, something else useful. As well as branded tricks for selling endophallus.

I don't want to hear it all together. Separately, of course, there are. Scalpels, long pins (from acupuncture), "rubber" solution for covering the genitals. As for inflating devices, I need to ask the carabidologists, I don't inflate, it's not required for Anthicidae.
