Do they not sell disposable insulin syringes in this store? Seriously, in my humble opinion, these are almost perfect dissecting needles: thin, with comfortable handles and sharpened at an angle, i.e. a microscalpel in one bottle. The trouble is, they get blunt fast.

problem with the purchase. Often in pharmacies (especially recently!) we have to deal with a somewhat inadequate reaction - NO, AND IT NEVER HAPPENS!!! and eyes so zyrk, like get out of here... A familiar doctor, having learned about this, laughed wildly and explained that 90-95 percent of their consumption is accounted for by drug addicts... So I haven't been able to buy new syringes for a month now . wall.gif

And what do dear colleagues use as preparation needles?

I use either 0 / 00 pins or the already mentioned Chinese acupuncture needles. Needles are more convenient for small animals (Ptiliidae), pins - for larger ones.

And syringes for drug addicts are changed free of charge in our special points, so that drug addicts do not inject twice with the same thing and do not get infected with AIDS. However, I do not know what kind of syringes are there. Hardly insulin-based.

What is the" caliber " of an acupuncture needle? less than 00? In addition, it does not remove the problem-than to cut the membrane. The point of the syringe is sharpened, as far as I understand, the needles do not.

The diameter (at the end) is like 00. But they are 2.5 times longer and it is somewhat more convenient to use such a needle under the binoculars - the hands do not touch the tube.

Unfortunately, I don't know about Russia. We sell, but not all pharmacies. It is best to buy in acupuncture salons.

02.08.2007 16:36, RippeR

Yeah.. my net was taken away.. It is necessary to take a new one or make it.. if only I could find a better cloth.. Yes, make a rim.

02.08.2007 16:39, omar

By the way, such a topic. Dmitry Telnov can please the forum members and send smile.gifthem European equipment by train from the EU in the fall, including the notorious Japanese pins of the mentioned brand. Including "all the most important things". I think there's a lot to think about.

02.08.2007 22:51, RippeR

I'm in favor! The main thing is to know the prices..

A thought after looking at a photo of a box with insects from Peru - but there can easily be new species.

17.10.2007 7:06, andros

It's a pity that this store doesn't work with the Internet.

29.10.2007 11:27, guest: Leoha

Hello! I read about etomological stores and thought: Do you happen to have them in Chisinau? I doubt it, to be honest... But suddenly? If anyone knows, please tell me, otherwise I can't get to Moscow : (and I can't do much of the equipment myself.

29.10.2007 20:04, RippeR

There are no entomo shops in Chisinau, but you can contact Chisinau entomologists and get the equipment through us smile.gif
By the way, we have a new entomologist in Chisinau?! I will be very happy to meet you!!!! riprulez@mail.ru

30.10.2007 10:16, guest: Leoha

Well, I can not be called an entomologist - I am 13 yearsshuffle.gif old, but I will also be very happy to meet you. I will definitely write to you! smile.gifThank you very much! smile.gif

All ages are submissive to entomology. The main thing is to be interesting.

30.10.2007 21:44, RippeR

When I started collecting , I was about 11.. What an "entomologist" I was, and still smile.gifam, just kidding. Became a collector smile.gif
But, the sooner you start , the more experience and good material you can gain! And experience and everything else-come with time, and with no more.. And in a year you can not collect a bad collection, but learn a lot smile.gif
By the way it is better to register on the website wink.gif

People!
Can anyone explain how this "Shop # 1" works???
I will not arrive permanently closed...
calling...
A sleepy voice answers me.
"Oh! Business today... Come back next weekend!!!"
Friends wanted to give me a gift for a decent amount of money on the DR...
they never got to him...
At first they couldn't get through...
we've arrived...
it's closed!
Just on the trail. day got through....
They didn't explain anything intelligible to them...
Like maybe next weekend...
Call me somewhere on Thursday...

During the weekend, I never got to the closed doors. I've been there between 11 and 16. Maybe, of course, I was just lucky.

05.11.2007 15:04, AntSkr

I've been there on weekdays, and I've never been closed. One Sunday they worked until five.

05.11.2007 15:41, Aleksey Adamov

There are probably two entomological stores in Moscow 1

05.11.2007 16:31, Dracus

No, he's not the only one. On weekends it is open all day, on weekdays I was not. americanecz, it is located at the Bird Market in the central complex of pavilions, where fish and aquariums are displayed. From the entrance "under the roof" directly to the central entrance of this white complex. As you enter, the second store is on the right.
Something like this (if I remember correctly)

05.11.2007 17:05, AntSkr

Trade and exhibition gallery (easy to find there), liniya G, pavilion 10 - it will be clearer this way smile.gif
