I set up soil traps today. And I found a pupa like this under a maple leaf:

To be honest, I'm almost zero in butterflies. I don't like these fragile creatures.
But still decided to take it. What is this species?
Maybe we should wait for imago?

A. Exactly)
Hmm. I do not like to collect butterflies because they break forever, but the pupae can be collected)))
If you put it in the freezer, it will kill it (how scary it sounds)

yes, butterflies easily break and rub, but the beauty is still the same.. And skill is a matter of time.. Actually, it's not hard to keep the butterfly intact.

I have a problem not in storage, but in spreading.

by saving, I meant everything from squeezing in the net to straightening, etc
.it is not difficult to straighten, the main thing is to clearly understand the technology and accumulate a drop of experience, and then everything is like clockwork.
