I will probably remain in the minority, I am aware of this and I do not impose my opinion on anyone. I've never bought insects for my collection, and I don't intend to. I collect it myself, and sometimes I get copies from friends and colleagues and share my material with them (this is not even an exchange, because it happens according to the principle: I have - on, and I don't need anything in return: when there is an opportunity, you will share it yourself). I don't see any sense or interest in buying insects: for me, this is already something akin to collecting stamps, badges, and match labels... So you can not go to the field: sit at the computer, order, receive... Boring! But again I repeat: this is purely my personal opinion.

Don't apologize, Dmitrich! Your position is not uncommon. You don't risk being left in the minority, you risk remaining within your capabilities when making a collection.

I agree, but this is my conscious choice and my collection. smile.gif

The main thing is not to fool people with prices, as they once fooled me mad.gif
And of course deal with the insects somehow:1) for example, someone caught a lot because of the mass flash, 2) someone just caught a few pieces.(as much as I saw, I caught so much), 3) and someone was generally awkward or did not see it in my eyes.
And each of these people will have their own opinion about the price.

And well, I forgot to give an example about those people 2) who, for the sake of quantity, had to sweat and work hard

That's how I see it

And sometimes you buy, and then you go to some place and you think I bought it?and it crawls under your feet smile.gif

Creating a general price list is almost impossible.
Reasons
1. The view from some point can cost a penny - arethusa from Stavropol, and arethusa from Altai and Mongolia, another thing!
2. There are trusted dealers and they can keep the price because of consistently high quality material, detailed labels, correct identification, design and other reasons.
3. The other needs money and is ready to sell the Phoebus series for one and a half euros per pair. And it is difficult to blame him for this.
Apparently there are a lot of other reasons.

Of course, Roman wink.gifAnd if it's not a secret-what is the price of Altai Phoebes and Evers for a pair? And then I was so in need of money that I gave it away at the congress... weep.gif

I think the price depends on the series. Quite an adequate price for eversmanny 15 E for a pair, and Phoebe 6-9. We are talking about the Aktash ones. So I could have bought half of Haifa if I'd been more smart. A joke!

The Evers just made my eyes water.I couldn't even imagine what could be in such a large number. The same goes for Phoebes. At first, they somehow ignored me,but then they showed me a couple of places and there were more of them than other types. In general, the area of Aktash is full of butterflies.I don't even know which butterfly can be called the rarest of those present in June.Unless tenedius was very small.

Did the Matveevs catch a lot of fish?

15.01.2009 10:35, taler

I caught about 8 pairs.I only caught a few hours for myself and a couple of orders. There was no commercial interest. My partner has been fishing for several days, but I do not know how much he caught.I agree, catching Matveev is difficult, but this also makes it more interesting. The butterfly is fast and careful+lives in an extremely complex biotope(I won't post my Altai trip yet, there's a whole chapter dedicated to Matveev)
