Ivanov is silent about the cost of the collection, but says that the exhibition presents the most expensive and most rare insects.
Oh, what a society we have... The main decoy of advertising touts is the most expensive ones... mad.gif

See cockroaches,
I still remember quite well the time when it was enough to go to the kitchen at night... and now, yes, we must go to the exhibition... tongue.gif

And so, of course, a beautiful exhibition. smile.gif

Yes, the original exhibition! It is clear that they did a good job with the design, I have never seen this, although all the exhibitions that we had were transportable, so everything was as usual, in frames on pins and needles in a row.
And here everything is so done that if there are pins, then they are almost invisible.
True the Russian names are cool smile.gif
And scarabs do not make balls not only for feeding larvae, according to Fabre, females prefer to make brood pears, bringing manure in parts, beetles roll balls to eat them on their own, after all, an important detail, since popularization...
And for some reason it says "body length" everywhere smile.gif

Russian names of beetles are mostly an attempt to translate Latin literally, although sometimes clumsy and incorrect, as if taken from the ceiling

Where, for example, did the "destroyer" - Cladognathus giraffa come from

or eupator thin-horned became "graceful" - E. gracilicornis

Entomological glamour is brought to the masses-well done!Well, there are minor inconsistencies, there's nothing you can do about it.And in general, very presentable and interesting!!

28.11.2013 13:51, Liparus

How much did the ticket cost?

Russian names kill.

And the price of ogogo! We have an adult ticket to the zoo of 26 UAH, so this is approx. 5500 animals, approx. 500 species, and-live!

A normal exhibition ! Decent copies (I didn't regret it), well done !
There are inaccuracies everywhere (morfids have some things that don't match), and "long" of course... (maybe it's in Ukrainian ?)
PARATYPE?! I don't know. I don't know.. Although a subspecies of 2002, anything can be ! (Maybe he caught it himself)

Judging by the photos, the exhibition is really quite good. I would especially like to mention the design findings of the organizers: 1) antique stylization and 2) mounting of exhibits on a decorative, as if natural background.

Last weekend we visited the traditional (121st!) fair in Frankfurt.
picture: IMG_5049.JPG

Frankfurt met with sunny weather

By 10 o'clock, participants and visitors begin to catch up

The choice of literature was disappointing

IMG_4926_2.JPG

We developed a virtual relationship with barko and had a great conversation over a beer.
IMG_4932_2.JPG

What we lack in Moscow bursa is a bar with delicious and inexpensive food and beer instead of an ugly vegan cafe with scrap prices
