Good afternoon,

to make a movie, you need a large number of live large flies. Babblers are ideal, although other large flies are also considered.

you can't get any babblers... well, unless cho... no, it won't work)

And you can remove as many green flies as you want by finding a supplier of maggots for fishermen.

yes, you also need to get a guarantee from the supplier that the larvae are not treated with something-a thread like juvenoids-precisely to prevent the hatching of thousands of flies.

Well, as I understand from my own experience, the budget of cinematographers will certainly allow you to repaint them all in striped beeline)

A large number is a relative concept... Just try to take a net, go to some autumn flower bed on a sunny day, and catch beekeepers (Eristalis tenax, Eristalis arbustorum, Helophilus sp. - google the pictures) on the curb aster. For example, in a botanical garden or park. With sufficient diligence, you can catch a couple of hundred specimens in a day.

Thanks for the tip, I'll try. Do you think these flies are still active in Moscow? Do they usually sit on the curb aster?

Active if there is sun and the air temperature is more than ~ +12 degrees. Not only on astra, but on it now there should be a lot of them. Plus other complex-flowered, autumn-blooming chrysanthemums, for example.
