A list of my books on butterflies. Cover scans

Community and ForumLiterature and websitesA list of my books on butterflies. Cover scans

xiaomao55, 13.12.2015 1:07

I post my books about insects (mostly butterflies) that I managed to find. There's more at my parents ' place, and there might be something else at home, too.
I scanned specifically with a background so that you can see the format of books, the scanner is standard, slightly larger than A4.
I will send you more information (year of publication, number of pages, etc.), and I can also scan the part of interest (except for Ukrainian books, I will ask the authors first).
I can sell some of them if someone really needs them.
Some of the books are far from science, rather photo albums.
I haven't scanned Cornelio, but he's theresmile.gif

Breeding of butterflies, breeding from pupae. Here are some useful thoughts.

The kids just pulled out these dragonfly and grasshopper postcards from somewhere. There are about a dozen more sets, many with butterflies, I'll look for them later.

Czech.
There are a lot of books, but my friend, a respected member of this forum, called them unscientific.
Brouci are beetles.
Hmyzo - insects.
The rest are just about butterflies.
Where there are three narrow books, the first one (with an anguloptera on the cover) is interesting because for each species there are 3 main distinguishing features (for definition).
The first photo (Moths, volume 1) contains a lot of photos of caterpillars.

More China.
Two determinants of Chinese butterflies, one about the butterflies of Yunnan province. And then there's our Zlotin.

From my childhood, from a second-hand bookseller and from Poland.
Animals of the Red Book, zoo and determinant - there are sections about butterflies.
The encyclopedia is memorable for the fact that they signed up for it back in the 80s, after the collapse of the Soviet Union, it became clear that it would not be sent, later they suddenly met her at the Book House, gave her all my mother's salary for hersmile.gif
Next to Arakcheev, an unmarked book is the Small Atlas of Tykach.
Somewhere else there was a book by Arakcheev about his domestic insects.
Polish books were bought almost in children's literature, in all the bookstores in Krakow and Warsaw that I managed to run around, I couldn't find another one.

Very different things.
And then there was Kemp and Arms ' Introduction to Biology, 1988. I even remember where it was on the bookshelf in the bookstore. And at home, I forgot that there is such a thing.
These are all the scans for today.

I also found an English book of an elongated pocket format (not for sale, this is a gift), I can make scans of the content or some types.
And my parents had an Atlas of Forest pests (Novak, Grozinka, Stari, 1974), I took the cover photo from the Internet. And another two-volume Zh-A.Fabre "The Life and customs of insects". It seems that all this is available on the Internet, but suddenly someone needs a scan of some part...

Thank you for a great selection! Has the intelligence book also been scanned? It would be interesting to read! Thank you, if you can somehow download it!
