8. It looks like a female of the same species Ischnura heterosticta (or a teneral male, do not consider sexual characteristics). ©

9. Possibly Pseudagrion microcephalum (male). ©

The dragonfly is blue in color, not like everyone else. One and only. I chased her, but she's quick and doesn't like to be photographed.

Natural color.

This is probably Ischnura heterosticta, because they are exactly the same as number 6. And taken in the same place.
It looks like they are.

And this, it seems, is a female of the same species Ischnura heterosticta (or a teneral male, do not consider sexual characteristicssmile.gif).

By the way, and here in this picture

did the dragonflies do this themselves, or is it staged? smile.gif This is the same species, the female "saddled" the male. smile.gif

Come on, all of you, I wouldn't have thought of that. smile.gif

Only, it looks like the female is eating dinner with the male. frown.gif The blue dragonfly lay motionless in the water, and the green dragonfly first "gnawed" the carcass, and then grabbed it and took it to the grass. Finish your meal...

Vona how! I haven't covered all of these details. I have heard about intraspecific cannibalism in dragonflies, but I have never seen it (I have only seen a dragonfly of one species bite another, smaller one).

Rhynchophorus ferrugineus, no way? They brought me some of these from Portugal last September...

It's the first time I've seen this, too. I couldn't help but take a picture. smile.gif

I've never seen such orange ones in our country. It's a pity. smile.gif

A dead moth. It was a pity to throw away the carcass.

5. Xanthanomis xanthina, Noctuidae Catocalinae. (I spied the name in a nearby shopping mall about moths of Malaysia)

This is an earwig (female). ©

Labidura riparia (Pallas) ©

The length is slightly less than 1 cm, very brisk.

Thanks!

I only remember the word "earwigs" at Darrell's, where they were fed to someone. smile.gif

Moreover, it is outrageously similar to Labidura riparia (Pallas). Most likely it is.

The beetle, I think that it was sick, although during the photographing it was alive and very actively clung to everything that came under its paws, but it moved slowly and there was something strange on its muzzle. I didn't try to run away, and by morning I was dead.
