Thank you.
I understand that: do these definitions apply to 29 and 30?
I would still like to determine what is shown in pictures 12, 26, 27, 28.

There are more than 600 beautiful specimens. Some of them had labels, some of them were recognizable and I was able to identify them myself, and some of them were helped to identify here. There are only 30 (THIRTY) undefined ones left. I'm slowly putting it out in the hope that there will be someone who can help.
The beetles aren't mine. By chance, I managed to photograph a small part of the collection (mostly those that were being straightened out).

Duc, I'm not talking about defining labels (it's never too late to issue them). I'm talking about labels indicating the date and place of collection - copies deprived of them are not a collection, but at best an interior item.

If we talk about the collection of corpses, then it is so-an interior item, and if we talk about photos, then everything is not so critical. Just give the photo the signature "Beetle" and it will do. This is me, with my viciousness, trying to get to the bottom of the designation of the type of beetle, and, knowing the type, you can already specify the places of distribution (see on the Internet).

According to the list of the Cerambycidae (Subfamily Prioninae) of the World by Z. Komiya & J. Lorenc, only Xixuthrus lunicollis (Lansberge, 1884), which was previously considered a subspecies of Xixuthrus microcerus (White, 1853), lives on the islands of Buru, Ceram, Amboina, Mysol, and Key. The latter, in addition to the nominative, which is distributed from Thailand to Kalimantan and Java, as well as on Sanghir Island, has 3 more subspecies:
X. m. bufo (Thomson, 1878), Morotai, Ternate, Batjan, Halmahera;
X. m. nycticorax (Thomson, 1877), N. Australia, Cape York;
X. m. axis (Thomson, 1877), New Guinea, New Britain, New Ireland.

Correctly named: Bacan (not Batjan), Ambon (not Amboina), Misool (not Mysol), Kei (not Key), Seram (not Ceram). The classic disrespect of a certain number of authors (in a particular case - Komiya) to the actual geographical names of Indonesian islands.

Dim, did you put it together?

Of course! When I saw this barbel, there was a storm of emotions and delight, comparable to the first capture of a deer beetle. Moustache was sitting on the wall, but he didn't dare take it with his hands - he carefully covered it with a stain.

Usually they catch it first, and then they remember that they didn't take a picture.

It is better to put here There exotic can get lost. True, I'm leaving now and will show up tomorrow, but can someone else determine.

I have a pretty good idea about this beast. This should be found not in Prionomma,
but in Dorysthenes from the subgenus Paraphrus.

I have one (passport-free, unfortunately) beetle designated as such by A. Drumont. But he did not mention mainland Malaysia as a possible place of origin. And so, yes, it looks like it.

There are still a lot of blunders, but in general the site is useful. There are pros and cons to the compilation approach - a lot of things are missed, but not so much nonsense and otsebyatiny.
