This motley scoop was still found on the border of Europe, that is, in the valley of the Ural River at the mouth, and in a stunning amount (absolute dominant!).

Roman, where was this copy taken? Mugojary?

09.12.2012 10:31, AGG

exactly west of Mugojara. I can't say the exact point, but it is along the Ural River, either in the Ural or Guryev regions (Shalkar, Chapaev, Inder). unfortunately, I only have a repeatedly transcoded snapshot, so the EXIF is practically empty frown.gif

Something really bad with geography... Shalkar is the east of Aktobe region, hundreds of kilometers from the Ural River... Inder - it would be interesting to put a dot on the area map... But I don't recall any rocky places in the lower reaches of the Ural River... All of Western Kazakhstan is solid clay and sand. Well, more chalk... Stones are found only in Mugodzhary, in the far north (Zhaksy-Kargaly basin), in some places on the chinki of Ustyurt, and in Mangyshlak Karatau... Whose picture is it?

09.12.2012 18:39, PG18

However, it may not be stones, but something incomprehensible, overgrown with lichen eek.gif

09.12.2012 18:51, AGG

lake Shalkar and the village of the same name, 75 km north of Uralsk, east of the Ural River. the picture shows that the butterfly is sitting on clay

09.12.2012 19:32, PG18

Well, yes, well, yes... There are a lot of Shalkars... There is a lake 75 km to the SOUTH (not north) Uralsk. This is quite a steppe. A point on Margelena would be very interesting. It's a pity that everything is so vague.

09.12.2012 20:19, AGG

Yes, I made a mistake, of course, to the south. I will try to contact the people from that expedition, but the chances are low frown.gif

The lichens in the picture resemble those in the fresh photo of Pimelia cephalotes in chernotelki, where the date and place (Inder) is... smile.gif

it is possible that the scoop from Inder. The expedition was teriological and entomologists were not in it, so I asked to collect me beetles - this is easier than butterflies for an inexperienced person, I have a black body pm and I know its exact location

I have information (I don't remember the source) that it can be a gorichnik (Umbrella), but a question mark is placed in front of it.

For this type, in addition to carrots, cereals were also indicated.

А вот еще ,что подсмотрел на итальянском форуме
to rufocincta (among other things, are diagnostic scales of the thorax: large under the microscope are thin and double pointed in rufocincta and terminating in a more peaks - as if were small forks table - in flavicincta).
This is a known sign. Very good.

This is a worthy find! Apparently, Izmailovsky Park is one of the main broad-leaved biotopes in the region, and lies inside the Moscow Ring Road, not without reason there is Alsophila and mistletoe, according to rumors, until recently met. It will be necessary to go there in the summer, look for some interesting ecoforid and tineid.
