I definitely haven't measured it yet. On the eye about three centimeters.

When I get to the box with them ,I'll point them out. I have a "trump" place on Jumgaltoo, there are a lot of them arriving there. I have a long series ))) .

But the largest evergestis of the fauna of the former USSR is Evergestis kopetdagensis. I don't show the label - this is at least a new subspecies (or maybe even a species, since it is collected very far from Kopet-Dag). The definition of this and the previous species were made by S. Yu. Sinev.

And here is another "delicious" evergestis-Evergestis vagabundalis. It is very widespread in Kyrgyzstan, but it is local. The butterfly is quite large (label size 15 mm). Defined by S. Y. Sinev

Another unique Central Asian firefly is Catoptria xerxes (Sauber, 1904). It is described from Issyk-Kul, but for some reason I have never collected it there before, although I have been there many times and at the right time. Maybe Sauber had the material labeled by one of the hunters purely approximately-well, there was somewhere Issyk-Kul nearby, so we'll write it down=). In the meantime, I caught these catopters only in the Inner Tien Shan (Suusamyr-Too, Moldo-Too, Jumgal-Too). Definition by S. Y. Sinev.

Well, I'll put another interesting find here. Dioryctria mendacella (Staudinger, 1859) from Turkey. According to https://fauna-eu.org/cdm_dataportal/taxon/d...8d-6f49971cc078, I haven't registered in Turkey yet - I'll make a small note when I get around to it.

D. mendacella is not new to Turkey; Kotsak and Kemal cited it in 2009. Apparently, the site of Lepidoptera Europaea does not have up-to-date data.

23.11.2017 9:58, rhopalocera.com

Evergestis anartalis (Staudinger, 1892) is quite common in the Kyrgyz highlands.

I would say that both Pyralidae are purely habitually related.
